Message from the Athletic Director
6
Welcome to the 2016 JCHS Football Season!
I am very excited and honored to be John Carroll’s new Athletic Director! Our new head coach, Chris
Hutchings (former head coach of Fort Pierce Central for 6 years), has impressed me with his work ethic and the
organization of this program. The players have equally impressed me with their dedication and hard work
throughout the summer conditioning schedule.
We are now in our 3rd season in the FHSAA State Championship Series and hope to be one of the top two teams
to advance to regionals once again. Last year our John Carroll football team finished the season with an 8-4
record. In the 2015 state playoffs, John Carroll earned hard fought first-round victory against Cardinal Mooney
with the score of 26-23, before losing our 2nd round game of the state playoffs to Clearwater Central Catholic.
I am so proud of our student athletes and their ability to represent themselves and our school both on and off
the field with respect, integrity, and honesty. To all of our student athletes, please remember that wearing John
Carroll Catholic High School “Blue and Gold” is an honor that should be cherished and never forgotten.
On behalf of everyone at John Carroll Catholic High School, I would like to thank all of you for your continued
support and devotion to all of our athletic programs. I would like to give a special “thank you” to everyone that
purchased advertisements in our football program and banners which are hung throughout the stadium. It is
because of your generous gifts that we can provide a quality athletic program all our students and families can
experience and enjoy.
ENJOY THE 2016 SEASON!
May God continue to bless you all!
Dave Raym
