The aggregate amounts in <strong>2016</strong> are unchanged from last year; however the categories have been<br />
revised in order to reflect the new <strong>2016</strong>-2021 strategy <strong>and</strong> the review of underlying cost classification.<br />
Sports development costs support the delivery of our award programmes as well as promoting the<br />
development of <strong>sport</strong> to create increased <strong>sport</strong>ing opportunities in local communities.<br />
Costs are shown net of costs apportioned to the Sport Engl<strong>and</strong> Lottery Fund. Note 9 details the gross<br />
costs <strong>and</strong> the recharge to the Lottery <strong>accounts</strong>.<br />
