swimming pool.<br />

As You Plan Your First Visit To the Y<br />

• Remember to bring a lock from home to<br />

secure your belongings in one of our many<br />

complimentary day lockers. f you forget your<br />

locker at home, we do sell them at the Y.<br />

• e offer complimentary towel serice at the<br />

Y, but encourage you to bring towels from<br />

home wheneer possible.<br />

• f you are planning to bring guests,<br />

neighbors or friends with you for a isit,<br />

make sure they hae their photo upon<br />

checking in at the Y.<br />

• Children not potty trained must wear a swim<br />

diaper plastic pant coer.<br />

Participating in Open Swim<br />

• e encourage you to look at the ool<br />

schedule prior to your isit as we offer a<br />

ariety of swimming options throughout the<br />

day.<br />

• f you are coming with children, you will need<br />

to abide by the swim test policy for the kids<br />

as we try to keep a ery safe pool.<br />

• Please pay attention to the signage on<br />

deck and ask the lifeguard if you hae any<br />

uestions.<br />

• f you nd the pool too busy for your<br />

comfort leel, please ask the guard staff for<br />

other options.<br />

• Ages 1 and older are allowed in the hot tub.<br />

Personal grooming, eercising and stretching<br />

will not be allowed in the hot tub.<br />

Swim Lessons<br />

SWIM LESSONS<br />

Age 6+ months<br />

The Northshore YMCA Auatics Swim Lesson program<br />

is student centered and includes e main learning<br />

components stroke deelopment, water sports, personal<br />

safety, rescue and personal growth. Classes are based on<br />

age and ability of the participant. Swim lessons deelop<br />

competency in swimming, along with condence and<br />

endurance. A participant is adanced to the net leel<br />

only when he or she can prociently and safely perform<br />

the skills within his or her leel.<br />

ADAPTIVE SWIM LESSONS<br />

Ages 3+ years<br />

Our 0-minute swim lessons allow the participant<br />

to work on building water safety skills in addition to<br />

addressing indiidual needs. These lessons are for<br />

patrons with a special need and reuire approal from<br />

physician.<br />

Cost: $15 FM / $15 CM<br />

SWIM TEAM<br />

Ages 6–18 years<br />

The Northshore Sharks Swim Team is a Y alues based<br />

program, focused on proper techniue, indiidual<br />

goals, and team alues. Our team is competitie and<br />

participates in the local YMCA league consisting of 15<br />

teams. To be placed on the interest list for Swim Team,<br />

please go to the Northshore YMCA website and add your<br />

name to the Swim Team nterest List. e will use the<br />

nterest List to contact people for ealuations. Ealuation<br />

dates will be set as a space opens up on the team.<br />

Cost: $55$2.50 FM only<br />

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS<br />

Ages 3+ years<br />

Our 0-minute priate swim lessons allow the<br />

participant to work at a personalied leel to achiee<br />

indiidual swim goals. Each student is paired with a<br />

senior, trained swim instructor based on needs and<br />

abilities.<br />

Cost: $0 FM / $50 CM<br />

SEASON SUMMER PASS<br />

Enoy the pool all summer long with a season summer pass for<br />

open swim time! ncludes entrance for 2 adults in the same<br />

household and their dependent children. Open swim times are<br />

2 hours long.<br />

Cost $150 FM / $250 CM<br />

PARTY RENTALS<br />

old your party at the Cottage Lake Park Pool! Up to 40<br />

guests will enoy 2 hours in the pool and on the party patio.<br />

A YMCA staff member will greet you and your guests and help<br />

facilitate your party. YMCA Swim Test policies and rules apply.<br />
