Financial <strong>Peace</strong> University Alumni:<br />
Deuteronomy Chapter 6 says, “We have each drawn water from<br />
wells we have not dug; we have sat under shades <strong>of</strong> trees we did<br />
not plant.”<br />
We each have benefied from those who came before us. It is important<br />
to do the same for those who come aer us. When you create<br />
an endowment gi for <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong>, you are ensuring the con-<br />
nued ministry <strong>of</strong> <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> for future generaons.<br />
What is an Endowment Fund?<br />
An endowment fund is an investment fund established to enhance<br />
the ministries <strong>of</strong> the church beyond the general operang budget. A<br />
gi to the endowment fund extends into the future, because the<br />
principal remains intact to produce income for years to come.<br />
Gis to the endowment fund can <strong>of</strong>fer financial benefits such as a<br />
tax deducon, reducon <strong>of</strong> estate taxes and avoiding capital gains<br />
tax. In addion, you will be leaving a legacy to <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> that<br />
will connue during your lifeme and beyond. What a testament to<br />
our faith, and our thankfulness for gis He has given us!<br />
The Endowment Fund is managed by a team <strong>of</strong> <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong><br />

Geng these powerful and life-changing lessons on<br />
money management and debt eliminaon to the<br />
people who need to hear them rely on people like<br />
you who have overcome the financial stress <strong>of</strong><br />
credit card debt; people like you who understand<br />
the nuts and bolts <strong>of</strong> budgeng, and are courageous<br />
and generous enough to share your failures<br />
and success stories that relate how aaining peace<br />
is not only possible but in reach right now!<br />
