Welcome to Villa Maxim, your home away from home! This welcome book is<br />
intended to get you aquainted with the <strong>local</strong> <strong>area</strong> and the villa.<br />
You will also find a copy of this guide in the villa, which you are welcome to<br />
take out with you during your stay, so you don’t need to print this out.

needs by providing all the things you might want for a relaxing stay and to<br />

Me as Your Hostess<br />
We all want you to have a wonderful holiday. I believe that Villa Maxim is<br />
your home for however long you are staying and try to make sure, that you<br />
will be relaxed, comfortable and happy. I don’t believe in breakage deposits<br />
or a long list of rules which restrict you, rather trusting you to do the right<br />
thing as you would at home.<br />
Entry Time<br />
Entry time is normally 4pm on your day of arrival, unless we have agreed an<br />
earlier time. I try my very best not to do same day changeovers so that if<br />
your arrival time is early and return flight is late, you can relax and enjoy the<br />
end of your holiday stress-free. For guests arriving early, we always prepare<br />
the top floor of the villa first, which comprises of the large terrace, the<br />
lounge, the kitchen and WC, everything you need so that you can relax and
enjoy your welcome pack on the terrace and the beautiful views, whilst we<br />
finish off downstairs if needed.<br />
Departure Day<br />
Check out time is 10am, but as above, I try to accommodate late departures<br />
whenever possible.<br />
Hopefully you have had a fabulous holiday! However, before you leave, I<br />
would appreciate it if you could do the following.<br />
1. Put any used towels and pool towels in the bath in the small<br />
bathroom.<br />
2. Load the dishwasher with any final dirty plates etc<br />
3. Pop any rubbish into the bin outside the villa<br />
4. Lock the front door and leave the key under front door mat.<br />
Your Your Arrival Day<br />
I will personally greet you at the villa so that I may show you around,<br />
answer any questions you may have and advise you on the best places<br />
to visit on your holiday for your individual likes or interests. If you
would like me to book any activities, restaurants or organise a special<br />
occasion, on your behalf, please let me know as soon as possible<br />

you are waiting for your luggage so I know, more or less, when to<br />
expect you at the villa.<br />

Supermarket<br />
A kilometre away from the villa you will find the <strong>local</strong> village supermarket; fresh bread<br />
every day, basic provisions including frozen food, a cold meat & cheese counter,<br />
selection of wines, spirits & beer. It’s great if you just need to stock up on necessities.<br />
Open Monday to Saturday:- 08:30 to 22.00hrs.<br />
Sunday & Holidays:- 08:30 to 15.00hrs<br />
Kiddies Play Park<br />
A 1 minute walk from the villa, it’s only tiny but will entertain the little ones….<br />
Rubbish Bins<br />
There is a rubbish bin just to the left as you leave the entrance gate to the villa and if<br />
you wish to re-cycle there are bins on the little roundabout just down the road.<br />
Rubbish collection is daily, apart from Sundays<br />
Sociadad<br />
Where all the <strong>local</strong>s meet! Join in and get a feel of the real <strong>local</strong> people. Spanish tapas<br />
& full meals. Kids more than welcome! Closed Mondays. Open from 1pm.
Cash Machine<br />
The nearest one to Villa Maxim, first turnoff on the roundabout, enter the car park on<br />
your immediate left, the cash machine is on the left.<br />
Petrol Station<br />
Open from 7am.<br />
Lag-o-Mar<br />
Just a short walk from the villa and, definitely worth a visit! At least go and have a<br />
coffee or a drink & take a walk around the museum. The architecture & design alone<br />
is worth spending some time there.<br />
