STATEMENT BY THE<br />
BOARD OF DIRECTORS<br />
In the opinion of the Board of Directors<br />
of Orana Incorporated, the attached<br />
Statement of Profit or Loss and Other<br />
Comprehensive Income and Statement<br />
of Financial Position are drawn up<br />
so as to present fairly the results of<br />
the operations of Orana Inc. for the<br />
financial year ended 30 June 20<strong>16</strong> and<br />
the state of affairs of Orana Inc. as at<br />
30 June 20<strong>16</strong>. There are, when this<br />
statement is made out, reasonable<br />
grounds to believe that Orana Inc. will<br />
be able to pay its debts as and when<br />
they fall due.<br />
Orana Inc. acts as trustees for 7 trust<br />
accounts totalling $529,776 as at 30<br />
June 20<strong>16</strong>, for residents of Orana’s<br />
accommodation services, and for the<br />
Kingsley Krix Benevolent Fund which<br />
has total funds of $47,894 as at 30<br />
June 20<strong>16</strong>.<br />

OF DIRECTORS<br />
In accordance with section 35(5) of<br />
the Associations Incorporation Act<br />
(1985), the Board of Directors of Orana<br />
Incorporated hereby states that during<br />
the financial year ended 30 June 20<strong>16</strong>:<br />
a) (i) no officer of the association,<br />
(ii) no firm of which an officer<br />
is a member; and<br />
(iii) no body corporate in which<br />
an officer has a substantial<br />
financial interest,<br />
has received or become entitled<br />
to receive a benefit as a result of a<br />
contract between the officer, firm or<br />
body corporate and the association.<br />
(b) no officer of the association has<br />
received directly or indirectly from<br />
the association any payment or<br />
other benefit of a pecuniary value<br />
except as reported under note 20<br />
(Board and Executive Disclosures)<br />
to the financial accounts available<br />
on request from the Chief<br />
Executive Officer.<br />
This report is made in accordance with<br />
a resolution of the Board and signed by<br />
two members of the Board.<br />
