Markus Vater (born 1970 in Düsseldorf, Germany) studied from 1992
until 1994 at the Kunstakademie Münster and from 1994 until 1997 at the
Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and in 1998 at the Royal College of Art in London.
From 2012 until 2016 he was a lecturer at the Royal College of Art and in
2014 a visiting professor at the Hochschule für bildenden Künste in Hamburg
and since 2016 he is a professor at the Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden
Künste Karlsruhe.
