Markus Vater (born 1970 in Düsseldorf, Germany) studied from 1992<br />

until 1994 at the Kunstakademie Münster and from 1994 until 1997 at the<br />

Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and in 1998 at the Royal College of Art in London.<br />

From 2012 until 2016 he was a lecturer at the Royal College of Art and in<br />

2014 a visiting professor at the Hochschule für bildenden Künste in Hamburg<br />

and since 2016 he is a professor at the Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden<br />

Künste Karlsruhe.<br />
