Munich: Art and Culture<br />
Day 1: Arrival in Munich<br />
Arrival and check in at your hotel in Munich. Accomodation.<br />
Day 2: Munich<br />
Visit the most important places in Munich during a guided city tour in the morning.<br />
See the Lady’s Church, the city gates, the famous market “Viktualienmarkt”,<br />
the Royal Palace, the artists village of Schwabing, the opera and many<br />
more. Use the afternoon for own discoveries. The evening is dedicated entirely<br />
to the highlight of this trip: the Bavarian State Opera. After the performance,<br />
return to your booked hotel, overnight in Munich.<br />
Day 3: Ettal<br />
After breakfast enjoy a full day guided excursion to Ettal & Linderhof. Visit the<br />
famous Linderhof Castle, the “Royal Villa” of the Bavarian King Ludwig II. A special<br />
highlight is the visit of the Grotto (closed during winter), once modelled<br />
as a natural stage for the performance of operas. Afterwards visit the village of<br />
Ettal, famous for its monastery. On your return journey to Munich have a stop<br />
in Oberammergau, where the famous Passion Play takes place every 10 years.<br />

Day 4: Departure from Munich<br />

Day 1: Arrival in Munich<br />

Day 2: Munich<br />
During a city tour in the morning you will visit the most important places worth<br />
seeing in Munich. See the Lady‘s Church, the city gates, the market, the Royal<br />
Palace, the artist village of Schwabing, the opera and much more. Use the afternoon<br />
to make your own discoveries. How about a walk in the English Garden<br />
with a break at its lovely tea garden? In the evening return to your hotel.<br />
Day 3: Royal Castles of Bavaria<br />
In the morning visit the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, one of the pleasure<br />
castles of Bavarian King Ludwig II. Afterwards there will be time for a stroll in<br />
Füssen. In the afternoon visit the “Wieskirche” church (UNESCO World Heritage<br />
Site), then return to your hotel.<br />
Day 4: Departure from Munich<br />
After breakfast start your jouney home.<br />
