Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (evening 

flight), you will be greeted by your guide by garlanding Araliya Flowers and then be 

escorted to your hotel. Upon arrival check in your lovely hotel and rest of the day free 

to relax

Colombo/ Pinnawala/ Kandy 

Transfer via: Private vehicle,

Travel time: approximately 3.5-4hrs 

After breakfast check out and head for to Pinnawela where you can visit the Elephant 

Orphanage and get up-close and personal with an elephant during their morning 

feeding and river bathing. Then head for Ceylon's old capital of Kandy, en route stop 

for an interesting visit to learn a wide range of spices at the Spice Garden, who’s 

15-minute complimentary Ayurveda Massage is also highly recommended. Continue to 

Kandy. 

Evening appreciate a vivid and traditional Rangahala Cultural Dance Cultural Dance 

(Kandyan Dance) 5.00-6.00pm -–Sri Lanka, a country rich with culture & tradition offers 

a very vibrant and unique show of Sri Lankan traditional dances, in the form of Kandy 

cultural show. The beat a dancing from "Salupliya" depicting several demons, "Thelme" 

vibrant expression of low country rhythm, Fire and Harvest dances accompanied by 







Ceremonial Drums and the Drum Orchestra rising and falling to the lively tempo. As 

many as 12 different folk and traditional dances are performed by Kandy lake club 

dance troop within the span of one hour. 

Day 3 

Kandy

In the morning, take an interesting visit to Royal Botanical Garden. Royal Botanical 

garden at Peradeniya” Peradeniya's gardens now titled 'Royal Botanical Gardens' is 

probably the most popular garden in the country. It spreads through 147 acres and is 

said to attract close to 2 million visitors every year. It is a glorious expanse of well-kept 

trees, flowers and pathways, some of which are centuries old. Everywhere you go are 

beautiful bushes, trees (up to 4000 species of them) and well cut grass, so there's no 

need to bother about the map really. Just wander through and find a nice space 

beneath a large tree, by a bamboo forest, by the lake, or take a walk down the 

suspension bridge 

which boasts 300+ varieties of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees at. 

Afternoon is free at leisure. Also visit Gem Museum & lapidary & Handy Craft Center. 

Afternoon visit Kandy War Cemetery. This small and beautifully melancholic cemetery is 

maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is the final resting place 

for those who died defending Sri Lanka during WWII. 

Later you will have leisure walk around beautiful Kandy Lake. The lake is artificial and 

was created in 1807 by Sri Wickrama Rajasinha, the last ruler of the kingdom of Kandy. 

Several minor local chiefs protested because their people objected to labouring on the 

project. In order to stop the protests they were put to death on stakes in the lake bed. 

The central island was used as Sri Wickrama Rajasinha’s personal harem. Later the 

British used it as an ammunition store and added the fortress-style parapet around the 

perimeter. On the south shore, in front of the Malwatte Maha Vihara, the circular 

enclosure is the monks’ bathhouse. Return to your lovely hotel & relax. 

Day 4 

Kandy/ Bentota

Travel time: approximately 5-5.5hrs 

After breakfast, check out and head for Bentota. Known for one of the best beaches in 

the Southern Sri-Lanka.At the beginning get escorted to Giragama tea plantation and 

a tea factory, where the world’s best Ceylon Tea is produced. After learn about the 

process of manufacturing tea, get hands-on experience of tea picking, and don’t forget 

to sip a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Continue to Bentota. Once you in 

Bentota(Balapitiya) embark on a River Safari in Madhu Ganga. The primitive life style 







of the inhabitants of the islands of the Madhu River is only a boat ride away. The boat 

ride takes us through the thick mangroves with abundant bird life, to reveal the primitive 

style of fishing and prawn trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands. The 

safari will last about 1.5 – 2 hours. 

With a fresh experience you may take Madu Ganga Fish Massage -They setup several 

artificial cage ponds in the natural river the doctor fish are grown there. You can get in 

to the floating stage from your boat and sit and put your legs in to the pond. Hundreds 

of Fish comes and gently nibble the dead skin of your legs. They provide fish food also. 

Once you feed them, hundreds of them comes and fight for it Upon arrival in Bentota 

check in to your lovely hotel & relax.
