Hi out there on the meadow.
My girlfriend has long had a horse that she spends a lot of time on, and
also some money. I can live with that.
The problem is just that it's about to take over. Before work, after work
and weekends, she is with her horse The few hours she is at home is
spent online on pages like this and various other horse sites.
When she sits in front of the screen she is completely gone. It's completely
impossible to get through with anything, unless you mention the
word horse.
Everything else does not matter, shopping, cooking, cleanup, cleaning,
which were common duties, are now completely ignored by her in favor
of horses (off and online), everything is shit. Our and her own friends
who are not horses, we rarely see more, she has no time. Is there any
family that invites, it is only of distress when she rarely has to say yes
please.
Now it's enough. And I'm throwing her out soon, I own the home we live
in, I have the power and she will get a huge shock when it happens,
because she thinks that everything is joy and fun. I know she is very
happy for me and I have been happy for her, but not anymore. I know I
can be happier with someone else ... sadly it should come so far.
This post has been written because you horse girls must once again think
of your husband / boyfriend, friends and family, and not only live in
isolation in a horse world. I can of course do not care, but it's a pity and
ruin an otherwise good relationship because of a hobby.
