PON Power Meter<br />
The Yamasaki TP31 PON Power Meter is a quick and accurate optical power meter designed<br />
specifically for the FTTH / FTTx installation & testing environment. It simultaneously measures<br />
1310/1490/1550nm wavelengths and displays results in real-time on an ultra-bright LCD<br />
screen.<br />
Pass / Fail / Warning indicators allow for instant assessment of power values. The USB port<br />
in the top of the TP31 allows for downloading, saving, printing of results, pass/fail threshold<br />
modification and self calibration using the included PC software and USB cable. This rugged<br />
hand held unit includes a removable rubberized boot, an ultra-bright backlight, an auto shut off<br />
function, a wide measurement range, upstream burst mode, and a universal SC connector.<br />

The Yamasaki TV650 Visible Fault Identifier is a practical pocket sized device designed to find<br />
breaks, bends and faulty connectors or splices in fiber optic cable. This basic piece of test<br />
equipment is a very useful tool for any person working with optical fiber. The VFI shines a very<br />
bright laser through the cable, causing all cracks, splits or leaks to glow a brilliant bright red.<br />
The laser can also be made to flash quickly to aid in fiber optic fault location. The TV650<br />

The Yamasaki TVOA1 Variable <strong>Optic</strong>al Attenuator is another new development designed for<br />
introducing precise amounts of attenuation into an active fiber cable. Attenuation can be<br />
adjusted in 0.05dB steps, it is suitable for use in PON, PDH, SDH, SONNET networks and also<br />
in systems using analog modulation (CATV).<br />
Attenuation is shown on the LCD screen in both dB and dBm. On shut down the TVOA1 stores<br />
your settings and attenuation stepping, so that next time you turn it on, the TVOA1 is ready to<br />

OLT Products<br />
Yamasaki <strong>Optic</strong>al Line Terminal (OLT) products are specifically designed for FTTH/FTTx PON<br />
applications. An OLT consists of a chassis and a number of OLT cards. These OLT products are<br />
an essential part of EPON end-to-end FTTx solutions. The OLT is the origin of the transmission in<br />
PON architecture; it is responsible for distributing triple-play services in FTTx networks such as<br />
IP Telephony, IPTV and true high-speed broadband. The OLT controls the amount of bandwidth<br />
that is allocated from the central office to the customer by <strong>com</strong>municating with the ONT at the<br />

Yamasaki Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) transceiver modules are the perfect solution<br />
for connecting gigabit switches or routers over optical fiber which can be invaluable in legacy<br />
networks. Our GBIC transceivers are designed to work at speeds of up to 1.25 Gbps. GBICs<br />
are available for both multimode and singlemode networks and are capable of operating over<br />
