Gratia about interior makeovers
How did Natura Gratia begin?
It started at the end of 2014
after I completed studies at
The Interior Design School
in London. Together with my
business partner, Anna, who is
also a very skilled craftswoman,
I wanted to offer people the
opportunity to enhance their
homes without
breaking the
bank.
It’s great when
one has a
huge budget
and capacity
for stretching
their house in
every possible
direction but not everybody
falls into this category – nor do
they need to in order to have a
beautiful living space.
What’s important to you as an
interior designer?
Our focus on interpreting the
client's vision of a beautiful
house means that they don’t
need to go back to a blank
canvas. It is
key to have
an open and
honest chat
before the
client throws
anything out.
Project before and, above, after makeover
We take a good
look and see
how things
can be used differently, maybe
re-invented. It’s not only about
changing colours or textures but
also about creating the right flow
and communication within the
space.
What’s your approach to interiors?
We provide professional design
and decorating services and
use our clever techniques to
bring the best out of interiors. I
always compare our approach
to interiors with the tactful
maintenance of a human face; we
all age but it’s about celebrating
the right features and disguising
the less flattering ones.

practical – without starting a
house revolution.
