Sixtyone Restaurant
A discreet dining room in the boutique Montcalm Hotel in London requested a focal point for the
establishment. We crafted this eye-catching and fascinating feature light that was in keeping with
the restaurant’s laid-back style. The Light consist of Copper-plated rods mounted onto dibond
panels, fixed within a central sunken panel in the ceiling. Each rod has an LED that illuminates
downwards onto a copper polished sphere, providing “sparkles” of warm light. A total of 600 1W
LEDs was used to create this masterpiece.

Restaurant Lighting

Different stages of the day require different types of lighting to create the correct
mood. As Restaurateurs you know how much is achieved with today’s commercial
dimming systems, all of our lighting pieces can be controlled effectively with the
right lamps or LED tape, allowing full use of day and evening settings to fulfil all
requirements and ambience levels.
During breakfast a high level of warm light is generally required, pleasant for
awakening guests and useful enough for easily reading morning newspapers while
enjoying their breakfast. Lunchtime restaurant lighting requires a moderate level of
lighting to focus a faster turnover of customers, especially helpful during the lunch
time rush. During the dinner hour a lower intensity of light creates an intimate and
relaxed atmosphere.

Bar Lighting
Deciding on the overall look to your bar lighting is very important in creating the
correct atmosphere for your guests. Lighting is Key in obtaining the required
“feel” for each establishment and can become a focal point, encouraging guest
congregate in one area creating social spaces to unwind.
The most common type of lighting used within bar areas tend to be pendants that
are situated over the bar counter. Our shades can be made for decorative purposes
with most of the light flooding away creating a warm, intimate setting or to light the
bars surface to which helps staff members with their duties.

Office Lighting
Office lighting needs to ensure employees have adequate light to work accurately
and efficiently. Although recommendations and standards define suitable light
levels, office tasks usually vary from one company to another. Work involving
complex detail may require a higher lighting level for accuracy, however if only a
minority of people in a large office area perform these tasks then local lighting could
be employed for these workers. Ensuring office lighting falls onto walls and ceilings
will prevent dark surfaces and create a balanced and a pleasant work environment.
The Iberian Lighting’s Hush acoustic range focuses on reducing noise within the

Domestic Lighting
Every home has its own personality with each room used for different purposes,
domestic lighting can play a key role in the final look and feel. The addition of a great
feature lampshade will dramatically add style and character to any room. Considering the
way light works within your home can make all the difference.
Hallway
The first space visitors see, having great lighting here is important. A dimly lit hall is
claustrophobic and does not create an inviting impression, having bright and interesting
lighting instead will add an exciting and welcoming atmosphere.
Living Room
The main space within your home for entertaining and relaxing for yourselves and
guests. A stunning feature light will ensure the room has presence and style. Dimmable

County Mall in Crawley
The newly refurbished County Mall in Crawley required an eye-catching and beautiful light
installation to hang in its lofty atrium space.
The Lights are made from flame-polished, thermoformed acrylic and welded to a bespoke
aluminium truss system that hangs 25 metres above ground level. The lighting sculpture uses
colour changing LEDs throughout the length of the 125-metre sculpture to add a sense of
movement and flight. The installation was designed by Nulty Bespoke and pays homage to
Crawley’s historic link with the aviation industry.

Acoustic Hush Shades
We have found that many customers, particularly commercial clients are interested
in the acoustic properties of the lampshade. We have seen the Hush Lamp shade
specified for atrium’s, recording studios, hotel rooms, offices, restaurants and
café’s due to the high acoustic value. The design acts like a barrier and deflects

All our lamp shades come in over 70 cotton colour options. At an aditional cost you
can also choose from ribbon pleated shades in a range of 35 organza colours, 68 silks,
3 faux woods, custom print finishes, wallpapers, faux leather, felt and gold, copper or
silver lacquered finishes. Lacquered finishes are only avalible on the inside of shades.

Diffuser Guide
If you don’t like the glare of lamps then a lampshade diffuser is what you need. A diffuser is designed to sit
in the bottom of a ceiling pendant light shade or the top of table or floor lamp to distract your eye from the
light. A lampshade diffuser is most useful when you have a larger ceiling shade, as the diameter is much
wider and therefore the Lamp is easier to see.
Firstly you need to decide how much light you want in the room. The type of diffuser and what material it is
made out of will determine how much light will be let out of the shade. Lampshade diffusers are laser cut
to ensure they fit perfectly within your lampshades. Once your lampshade has been fitted simply pop the
diffuser into your shade and slide it into place so that it sits just above the bottom ring. The beautiful thing
about diffusers are that you can swap and change them often as you wish to suit different times of year and
your décor without changing your existing shade.

Following the retirement of the founder
in 2003; Les Allitt & Rich Davis have
carried the company forward. We pride
ourselves on being one of the UK’s most
dynamic and adaptable manufacturing
companies, based in East Sussex Iberian
supply bespoke lighting to hotels, offices,
restaurants, pubs, clubs & domestic
homes throughout the UK, Europe and

In 2014 we introduced Iberian Digital to
the Iberian brand investing in printing &
cutting equipment allowing us to produce
digitally printed shades to complement
our vast array of stock
In 2016 we created Iberian Interiors adding
bespoke wallpapers and textile wall covering
