G9 Mission Statement: Increase funding for childhood cancer research and initiatives by growing awareness that inspires action for every child, everywhere. A Letter from Sarah Bartosz, G9 President It is with extraordinary pride that Gold In September (G9) shares this overview of success and goodwill. The organization effectively raised more than $1.2 Million last year and forged new partnerships and collaborations while planting the seeds and watering the roots of hope for children battling cancer in positive, inspiring ways. G9 is committed to turning the world gold for every child, everywhere until cures for childhood cancer are found. Regardless of where a child resides, each of the children fighting cancer is the collective responsibility of our world . . . they are all ‘local’ to those who love them and the dedicated community of doctors near and far working cooperatively to save their lives. Together, we must now turn awareness into action and possibility into reality. Many wonderful organizations are making great strides in the name of childhood cancer and G9 is not in existence to duplicate those efforts or take away from the good works of others; G9 is different. G9 is dedicated to building golden awareness leading to action to help the roots of our collective hope grow and flourish, just like every child, everywhere deserves the opportunity to grow and flourish.
