henotype is what an organism looks like as a consequence of the
interaction of its genotype and the environment 1 . This principle
could be adapted to logically build explanations for a child’s
development and the eventual personality the child turns out to be in
life. The totality of a man is unarguably determined by the
interactions of the factors of the physical and socio-cultural (including
religious/faith) environments. Also what becomes of or what any
child becomes in life has been found to be greatly influenced by the
conglomerate influences of the Parents Social Status, the Parenting
Styles adopted and the Socio-cultural environment in which the child
is brought up. Parenting style influences both the child’s
development and social mobility. The nature and role of home
learning, family routines and psychosocial environmental
factors are potentially important in the early child
development.
