In 2016, CADCA, with the support of its global
partners, was able to secure commitments and
resources from local, regional, and national
governments to support the development
of anti-drug community coalitions through
the Training of Leaders (TOL) Initiative. This
approach led to the successful formation of 54
additional drug prevention coalitions, and to the
strengthening of existing coalition networks in
the following countries:
COSTA RICA: 3 new coalitions
in the greater San José
Metropolitan Area
GHANA: 6 new coalitions in the
Eastern and Central regions
GUATEMALA: 3 new coalitions
in the Department of
Quetzaltenango
HONDURAS: 4 new coalitions
in the Department of Cortéz
