Greeting Division-K Toastmasters! 

"There is an unforgettable quote by 

Booker Washington that says: "If you 

want to lift yourself up, lift up someone 

else.” I used to think about this quote 

and wonder how lifting someone else 

will help me. 

Joining Toastmasters and diving deeply 

in it, I found that the quote is 

absolutely true. We improve in 

communication and leadership. when 

we effectively evaluate another 

member to lift him up. We also gain 

many skills when we mentor a new 

member to ameliorate his 

communication and leadership skills. 

By helping one another, we are taking 

our club to a better level of quality 

which what we are looking for. 

High quality Clubs are those that have 

After joining the district team and seeing 

the big picture, I realised that success of 

all Toastmasters depends on success of 

club. And the club will succeed when it 

fulfills the members' needs to become 

better communicators and leaders. 

My advice to you members and leaders 

of toastmasters is to focus on 3 things : 

1. Your goals: why did you join 

Toastmasters? And why did you take 

this role? 

2. Feedback: always ask for feedback( 

evaluation ) it's like GPS that shows 

you the right direction to your goals 

3. Fun: I'm always Saying without fun, 

no Toastmasters. As Ralph Smedley 

said: “We learn best in moments of 

enjoyment” 

I wish all members of division K a 

Toastmasters journey full of education 

and fun.

Greetings Leaders and Members, 

While we proceed towards the First 

quarter of the term, our plans must 

have been laid at the club level. 

Currently, we might have executed at 

least a fraction of the plan. The more 

we work the plan, more experience we 

get. Experience is a quality learning 

process. In Toastmasters, when we 

rush to achieve objectives merely for 

recognition only, we tend to move 

away from quality learning. 

Toastmasters International (TI) is a 

great organization helping thousands 

to transform their lives. When we are 

luckily part of such organization, we 

need to understand it’s the most 

practical program on Communication 

and Leadership. It’s going to grow 

more and more bigger with time. 

When we are part of such a stable 

organization, Then why the rush? Let’s 

At times, when witnessed an 

adrenaline rush to finish up Speeches 

and Roles within abnormally very short 

time, we are not gaining that wonderful 

experience to its core, what comes next 

is good, but at a very high risk when we 

lack core experience and perform 

leadership roles. Lets gain much from 

timely experience, enjoy giving 

speeches and performing leadership 

roles. When enough experience is 

gained from previous roles, future roles 

will be only bigger and better for all. 

Pick leadership roles like Contest Chair, 

Chief Judge, Committee Head and more, 

these roles might not be sole 

requirement for DTM or Club President 

But surely will build a better leader 

once we are there. 

Build your experience in every small 

opportunity you get.

Before beginning of the year soon 

after district election on 19 th May 

2017, we all 4 division directors of 

Bahrain started to plan together. We 

have planned the calendar year of 

events because we are keen to kindle 

your knowledge. 

To achieve the success for the year we 

need the support from each and 

everyone of you to work in a team. 

Because I strongly believe that Team 

work really works.

Team, I wish to ensure that the spirit of 

Toastmasters continues to guide us on 

our path to build upon our previous 

successes and contribute to the 

forward momentum of Division K. 


If the Toastmasters Movement is a 

fabric made from threads of different 

colors, shapes and sizes – Area 8 is a 

tapestry woven from warmth, wellbeing 

and willpower. 

Area 8 have already proven their 

potentials and their possibilities. This 

Area is a home not just for 80 

Members & 4 Clubs – this is the Area 

that had the most amount of District 

Contest Participation from Division K 

during the last Contest Season. 

Bahrain Toastmasters, MJS 

Toastmasters, BIMA Toastmasters & 

Southern Toastmasters Club are the 

four pillars of Area 8, each unique and 

illustrious in their own way. And 

together, they form Area 8 – An Area 

of Champions. 

As the Area Director of Area 8 & My 

Our Goals for this term include, 

0 Stabilize and strengthen the Clubs 

by cultivating the inherent potential 

of members 

0 Identify & Instigate Leadership 

Potential by Toastmaster Programs 

like Speechcraft, YLP etc. and not 

just unearth the Capacity to Lead in 

our members but attract more 

members as well. 

0 Promote effective collaboration 

between Clubs within the Area as 

well as outside the Area to reinforce 

best practices and lasting 

relationships 

0 Foster a creative environment 

where challenges thrive under the 

umbrella of acknowledgement 

Our guiding light is our passion for 

performance. Area 8 has done this in 

the past, is doing it in the present and 

will continue to do it in the future.

Presidential Message (Maryam Alrowaiei 

): 

First of all I appreciate that I got the 

privilege and opportunity to express my 

immense gratitude to the support and 

trust given by the fellow members along 

with the ex.com of Bahrain Toastmaster 

Club if it weren’t them I wouldn’t be 

right now the President to write these 

words . 

Through the time I joined Bahrain 

Toastmaster Club I was able to learn so 

many things about leadership skills and 

how to overcome fear by delivering 

prepared and unprepared speech. As I 

joined the ex.com I have learnt to be 

independent, responsible and the most 

important thing is to work as a team 

along with the ex.com and other 

members. So what makes the club going 

is the team work, without it you can’t 

have a successful meeting and guests to 

attend and that’s what we emphasize on 

it in Bahrain Toastmaster Club team 

work (Together we can achieve). 

Since the moment that I got elected. I 

promised myself to become a good 

president and lead Bahrain 

Toastmaster Club to become one of 

the best organized clubs in Bahrain. A 

Club where every member can learn 

and support each other and build 

their confidence by forgetting the 

feelings of fear and nervousness and 

enjoying delivering prepared and 

unprepared speeches without afraid 

to being misjudged or doing mistakes , 

but consider it instead as a fun way to 

learn and enhance the speaking skill. 

And this cannot be achieved without 

the team work of the distinguished 

ex.com who joined their hands 

together to achieve this goal by filling 

the responsibilities of each role they 

nominated themselves to.

It is my pleasure and a privilege to be 

the President of this prestigious MJS 

Toastmasters Club for the 2017 - 2018 

term. 

I’m blessed to be the president of a 

club where some members are more 

than 20 years in toastmasters. I’m sure 

with a mix blend of senior and junior 

members, we are improving in 

communication & leadership skills day 

by day. 

Further beyond the club, I believe we 

got experienced toastmasters in our 

Area & Division Excom, who will guide 

us to improve the quality of our club 

meetings and achieve the goals. Last 

year our members managed qualify to 

Division in annual speech contest but 

this year our target is to reach beyond 

Division. 

I would like to congratulate all the

BIMA CLUB OF TOASTMASTERS is a 

vibrant club in Bahrain, which 

provides a learning platform to each

communication skills. Since we have 

limited strength in membership, we

and leadership skills. 

Though our club started as restricted 

club to Management Accountants, now 

we are welcoming all and it is an 

open club inviting members from all

I would like to take this opportunity to 

thank and appreciate Division-K for all 

their exertions to bring out the first 

newsletter of area-9 Division-K. I also 

thank all area-9 & Division-K ExCom 

members for their support which I am 

getting from them during our term 

2017-2018 as a president of WMC 

Toastmaster. I believe that area -9 will 

maintain a high level of education and 

value to toastmasters. I have witnessed 

the spirit and passion of our veteran 

and aspiring new toastmasters form 

area who work hand in hand to 

overcome many challenges, and carve 

the way towards success of this 

newsletter. 

Leadership is not about you asserting 

yourself over somebody. It is about 

being able to harness everybody’s 

aspirations and make it happen. I am 

glad that this newsletter has brought 

out the innovation and leadership 

skills of all the club in Area-9 and I 

would also like to take this opportunity 

to convey my thanks to Area-9 

toastmasters and its officials who made 

this happen within a time frame.

President Address (TM John David): 

Wake up, go to work, sleep. Wake up, 

go to work, sleep. Waking up with the 

sole purpose of just going to work. This 

was my daily routine before I joined 

Toastmasters. To tell you honestly, 

working in a foreign country is not as 

easy as it may seem. The idea of 

separation from your family and loved 

ones is the greatest challenge that any 

OFW will have to face daily. 

After joining Toastmasters, that 

routine suddenly changed. 

Toastmasters changed my whole 

perspective on my stay here in 

Bahrain. Toastmasters gave me a new 

purpose in life, that is to improve, by 

listening and by speaking. With all of 

the meetings that I have attended in FC 

Mabuhay Toastmasters Club, I had 

always been exposed to great speakers 

and leaders which motivated me even 

more. And with the help of my mentor 

and my fellow Toastmasters, I knew 

myself even more. They showed me 

the way on how can I do things even 

better. 

For me, all of these are just bonuses. 

The easiest way to overcome 

loneliness abroad is to meet new 

friends. And the real perks of joining 

FC Mabuhay Toastmasters Club is, 

having them as your second family 

here in Bahrain. As they say "The key 

to success is to consistently surround 

yourself with successful people". But I 

say, to become successful surround 

yourself with successful people you 

consider as your family.

Alkhalifa): 

It is my honor to be President of 

Banagas Toastmasters Club by 

election. My vision is to continue the 

achievements of the club and its 

members’ progress. This is achievable 

with effective participation, 

encouragement and support of its 

members and the company. 

Since Banagas Toastmaster club 

started in 2012, its members had 

managed voluminous successes 

locally and internationally in our 

district level. With that given, Banagas 

Toastmasters members gained 

leadership skills in public speaking, 

listening, critical thinking, time 

management, mentoring, facilitation, 

giving feedback, team building and 

motivation. 

To continue the process of gaining 

achievements for Banagas 

Toastmasters Club, its members and 

Banagas staff, I would like to invite 

new members to join the club who are 

willing to seize the opportunity to 

escalate their skills in public speaking. 

Come along and join us as a guest in 

our next meeting, the fun and team 

collaboration will force you to come 

again and be a member. From a shy 

speaker with ums and nums,

Let me give you a brief introduction of 

the clubs under Area 10: 

Fellow Toastmasters, 

Good day! 

Area 10 is like a movie, starring three 

superstars-Indian Club Toastmasters, 

TASCA Toastmasters and Palakkad 

Toastmasters Clubs! All these three 

clubs are full of vibrant and dynamic 

toastmasters. TASCA Toastmasters Club 

and Palakkad Toastmasters Club 

achieved 10 out of 10 DCP points in the 

last term and are very confident of 

repeating the same this term also-that 

is why our area is called Area 10! 

Area 10 has been the producer of many 

dynamic leaders and great 

communicators. 

As the director of area 10 my goal is 

The first club in Area 10- The Indian 

Club Toastmasters was founded by 

DTM Ponnuchamy and is the second 

oldest Toastmasters club in Bahrain. 

The Credit for starting several 

Toastmasters clubs on this island goes 

to the Indian Club Toastmasters. 

Indian Club Toastmasters have also 

contributed to the growth of the 

District in the Gulf by serving in 

various capacities:

It has been my honor and privilege to 

serve as President of this prestigious 

Indian Club Toastmasters Club for 

2017-2018 term. Toastmasters is an 

international organization that has 

been helping people develop and 

improve communication and 

leadership skills since 1924. 

Speaking with many of our past club 

presidents and senior DTM’s, I learnt 

that the experience of serving the 

presidential chair shapes one into a 

different person. I would extend the 

sentiment putting it further that is 

takes on roles at meetings has an 

amazing and noticeable 

transformation for the better. I 

encourage you all to go a few steps 

further and strive to be and do the 

best you can in all that you do! 

We all come to Indian Club 

Toastmasters (ICT) to make our 

meeting enjoyable and learn from each

As a president of prestigious club of 

TASCA toastmasters , I am happy to 

serve for the term 2017-18. Ours was 

one of the Pioneer clubs in this island. 

Our club mentor DTM Ponnuchamy 

was past District governor. Our club 

first president,DTM Gita Ponnuchamy 

was the first lady Toastmaster in the 

middle East. We just completed 15th 

anniversary of our club. Also we have 

achieved six times President 

Distinguished club status from TMI.

Together Everyone Achieves More – 

this TEAM spirit is the strength of 

Palakkad Toastmasters and it is indeed 

a privilege to be the President of this 

Club for 2017-18. 

In a short span of 6 years since its 

charter in February 2011, our Club has 

proved to be one of the most vibrant 

Clubs in this island, with its member 

representation in every aspect of 

Toastmaster activity. 

We have been successfully conducting 

Youth Leadership Programs for the past 

5 years, getting President’s 

Distinguished Club recognition for the 

third consecutive year and in 2017, we

Caravan Journey , 

Area 11 is a caravan boarded with 

around 70 toastmasters, started its 

journey on 1 st July 2017 and to end at 

30 th June 2018. This mobile home, has 

four wheels namely Krypton Advanced 

Toastmasters Club, Indian Academy 

Toastmasters Club, Kingdom Arabic 

Toastmasters Club and Krypton 

Innovative Toastmaster club, consists 

of distinguished toastmasters, 

Corporate members, academicians and 

vibrant native leaders. 

Passengers have passion towards 

comfortable journey with outstanding 

experiences on their communication 

and leadership skills to reach 

distinguished destination. 

Being the servant leading driver of this 

caravan, initially I would like to assure 

a safe journey to my passengers. In the 

next step, with the guidance and 

directions of caravan’s executive 

committee and council members, it has 

been promised to provide the 

conducive environment for our 

travelers during their journey. In 

addition, we have aimed at the 

following to make a pleasant journey 

0 To help and support, and share good 

practice between all of the existing 

clubs in Area 11 and Division K 

0 To Identify the potential leaders and 

provide the special training on both

President Address (TM. 

Narayanasamy): 

We, Indian Academy thought for a 

while…. Since we have the students 

from multifaceted dimensions- such as, 

professionals like teachers, managers, 

business leaders, marketing personnel, 

financial experts, engineering 

personalities and finally our beloved 

young blooming buds such as freshly 

graduated school students and so on… 

Can we do something for the Indian 

Academy Students and Teachers? We 

had discussions with different people 

to do something for Indian Academy 

students’ communication and 

leadership skills development. 

As per Toastmaster International 

founder President, Dr Ralph C Smedley, 

“Whatever your grade or position, if 

you know how and when to speak and 

when to remain silent, your chances of 

real success proportionately 

increases”. 

After attending toastmaster meetings 

in Bahrain and discussing with our 

students those who are already in 

Toastmaster arena, we have decided to 

provide toastmaster platform which 

would be right choice for learning and 

practice to our students. Once they 

graduate through our universities, 

they should be able to excel their skills 

in communication and leadership 

along with their studies. 

Yes, accordingly, we have stepped into 

the toastmaster international program 

since January 2014, and we hope that 

we are doing our level best and our 

members would reach greater heights 

through Indian Academy Toastmasters 

club.

mind. I just thought of joining a club 

and becoming a good speaker. 

Then, I joined TASCA Toastmasters. 

After 5 meetings, I was given a slot to 

deliver my Ice breaking speech. 

My Journey in Toastmasters 

My DTM journey was amazing, 

exciting and fascinating as well. The 

journey started in 2007 with a small 

and nerving speech. I was just 

walking on the Awal Cinema Road, 

without knowing what toastmasters 

were. I entered the Indian club and 

straight went to the Indian club 

Toastmasters meeting as a guest. 

I was given a warm welcome and I 

nervously sat on a seat. I saw a 

speaker speaking with great 

enthusiasm and sincerity. At the end, 

he won the best speaker award. 

When I came out of that meeting, the 

Before I began my speech, I was too 

nervous. Luckily, there was a lectern 

that was hiding my legs. Somehow, I 

finished my speech without much 

flaws. Then, I slowly gained 

confidence with every speech 

delivered and stage fear went off. 

From the very second year, I started 

contesting in all contests. 

I won Division K Humorous speech 

contests 3 times. After winning my 

first division championship, I went to 

Kuwait for District Semifinal contest. 

I simply lost it. I just made up my 

mind to come again and win. Then, I 

started focusing preparing simple, 

humorous speeches with powerful

humor punches. 

It was in 2015, I was at Bahrain 

airport to leave for contest in Dubai. 

While sitting, our past district director 

DTM Alex Ginete asked me, “Are you 

going to participate in contests? 

My 

reply was, I’m not going to participate 

in contests, but I’m going to win the 

cup. Then, ultimately I won. It was a 

memorable moment in my life. 

In between, I just gave a pause for a 

year and finished all tasks in 

leadership tracks. I was very 

aggressive and regular for all 

meetings and events. Everything kept 

me busy and I was really enjoying 

speaking. 

I just took it as fun and 

enjoyed fulfilling leadership roles. 

Only in Toastmasters, one can speak 

freely and there is no punishment for 

errors and in fact, there is always

applause. 

I always felt great while 

meeting members and listened to 

others as well. 

Here, I express my 

sincere thanks to my mentors DTM 

Ponnuchamy, DTM Gita Ponnuchamy, 

DTM PK Kasinthan, DTM Alex Ginete, 

DTM Ahmed Rizvi, DTM Jose Thomas 

and TM R Balu. 

Now, I have become a DTM – the 

ultimate reach in Toastmasters. I just 

committed to my commitment. 

Everything went off with ease. 

The 

journey was really beautiful and 

blissful. 

Now, I will focus on how I 

can make use of this learning outside 

toastmasters. 

My next aim is to help 

people and offer my mentoring and 

making others excel in their journey. 

What I would like to say is one can 

achieve any big task if the person 

works daily with consistency.

"Toastmasters???What's that? Some 

good eatery " 

"No Babu ,it's an international 

organization helping people to 

improve their communication and 

leadership skills. See I am an ATM". 

"Gopi ,the only ATM I know is the one 

at the bank “ 

The above was a conversation I had in 

the early nineties with my childhood 

friend Gopi during one of his visits to 

the capital city of God's own country 

,Kerala in India from where I hail. 

Gopi was based in San Fransisco. 

To brag about my friend, Gopi Kallayil 

which is his name is an ardent 

Toastmaster. He has completed 

Advanced Communicator Silver and is 

Google’s Chief Evangelist for Brand 

Marketing and a TED speaker . He 

featured on the cover of Toastmaster 

magazine April 2017. 

I decided to take Gopi's words

seriously and in the year 2000 I 

walked into the meeting room of 

Manama Toastmasters at the Holiday 

Inn (today's Crowne Plaza). A galaxy of 

well dressed dignified ladies and 

gentlemen greeted me. This was my 

first introduction to "Toastmasters ". 

Having had my foray in the field of 

public speaking in India as a student 

union leader and university Just a 

Minute champion for three years 

(Sorry for blowing my trumpet ), I sat 

there in the Holiday Inn thinking - 

“What more can I learn about 

communication?" The meeting started 

and at the end of two hours I was 

literally blown away with the inspiring 

speeches ,the impromptu comments 

,the disciplined set up ,not to forget the 

warm welcome of the Manama 

Toastmasters. Realization dawned on 

me that I was just an infant on the 

shores of the ocean of communication 

and leadership which stretched out in 

front of me. 

"A journey of a thousand miles begins 

with the first step"-This famous 

Chinese saying is a favorite of mine and 

on April 1 2000 I took my first step in 

my Toastmasters journey. Well April 1 

was just a coincidence and not because 

it was "All fools day ". 

TM Clement Vinayak took up my 

mentor ship. Much water has flowed 

under the bridge and I as I travel down

memory lane, I am flooded with the 

beautiful enjoyable Toastmastering 

moments that flash across my eyes. 

I am sure the readers of this article 

who have come this far might be 

thinking "What - Seventeen years to 

become a DTM. ? Isn't that too long ? 

Yes dear friends it's a long time but I 

decided at the very first meeting to 

take things at my own pace. In today's 

era where we have Fast food, Instant 

noodles ,Quick fix remedies etc. mine 

has been a journey on the slow lane. 

We see Toastmasters around finishing 

their DTM in 18 months ,14 months 

or even lesser. Projects in the morning 

and evening at different clubs and 

then reaching the DTM mark..... I have 

nothing against this fast track 

approach but my advice to budding 

Toastmasters is to enjoy the 

Toastmasters program and to take it 

at a slow pace. 

When Toastmaster Nasreen, PRM 

Division K .asked me to write on my 

DTM journey, I pondered-what advice 

can I give -To be a tortoise or a hare. 

Well my journey is penned below: 

The CC manual (earlier the CTM 

manual) is a wonderful guide. Before 

attempting any speech I read the 

project details at least five times. I 

think of various topics and analyze 

each of them .Will it meet the 

objectives ? And interestingly I am able 

to close in on two to three topics. After 

choosing what I feel is apt, I keep the 

rest for a later date. 

Discussing with the mentor is of prime 

importance and I have done it. 

Unfortunately I feel that the Mentor- 

Mentee interaction is on the downward 

trend today. 

I have followed the practice of reading 

the manual for any project speech 

several times right from Project 1 of 

the basic manual to my final DTM 

speech. 

For most of my CTM (CC) projects ,I 

have written down the speeches ,and 

rehearsed them thoroughly before 

presenting it at the club. I can proudly 

say that for the first seven projects I 

was the best speaker at the club and 

that too at the Manama Toastmasters 

club - my mother club which continues 

to have great speakers. (Sorry ...my 

trumpet again). In my journey I also 

mastered my impromptu speaking 

skills having reached upto the District 

level in

Table Topics contests. 

Toastmaster A.S. Jose pushed me to 

take up the role of founder president 

of WMC Toastmasters club in 2003 

and there began my leadership track 

in Toastmasters. Slowly I bid goodbye 

to my mother club and took up the 

task of building WMC which is now 

my home club. I hibernated from 

project speeches but took on the 

mantle of Area Governor and marched 

ahead. YLPs, Speech crafts and my 

HPL project gave me a lot of 

confidence and honed my leadership 

skills. I continued the ACB journey - 

again in the slow lane till 2015 when 

our club president MTM Roshni Pinto 

woke me up with a jolt. She insisted 

that I should put on my boots and 

reach the DTM mark. I started 

focusing on my projects. However I 

never never rushed to complete 

manuals. Taking my own sweet time I 

did each project with utmost sincerity 

and to the best of my ability. 

During this journey I was fortunate to 

be declared as the FIRST PLACE 

WINNER AT THE INTERNATIONAL 

TAPED SPEECH CONTEST 

CONDUCTED BY TMI IN 2004.When I 

went on to the stage at Reno Nevada 

in front of a two thousand 

strong crowd to receive my plaque 

from the TMI President I thanked the 

Almighty for taking me there. (Sorry

..my trumpet again ) . My friend Gopi 

drove down from San Francisco to 

Reno, Nevada to applaud me as I 

received the award . 

On the 9th of June 2017 (which 

incidentally happened to be my 

birthday (don't ask me my age because 

age is just a number ),I attained my 

DTM. In the presence of a fifty plus 

gathering I delivered my final speech. I 

was particular that my mentor DTM 

Clement Vinayak should evaluate me 

and he gracefully agreed. 

This journey has been long .With 

gratitude I recall the motivation of my 

wife Mary and children Deepak and 

Gautham who have been supportive 

and a source of encouragement for me. 

I also bow down before each and every 

WMC member ,my well wishers from 

Manama Toastmasters club and many 

others who have played a significant 

role in molding me into what I am 

today. 

My salute to the founder of our 

movement Dr. Ralph C Smedley whose 

words "We learn best in moments of 

enjoyment " echo in my ears 

Dear Toastmasters, this is my journey .

conducted First Club Officers Training 

(COT-1) for the term 2017-2018 on 9 th 

June at Pakistan School Isa Town. This 

training ensures that club officers are 

ready for their leadership roles. 

Complete this training the clubs will 

earn DCP points. The event was 

themed around the TMI Core Values of 

R.I.S.E. A panel discussion was held on 

Pathways and a Presentation was held 

on Going Beyond the Club. The day was 

filled with learning, networking and

Installation Ceremony for the new club 

officers in the presence of the club 

chief guest His Excellency the 

Ambassador of the Philippines in the 

Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Alfonso A.

Joint Meeting 


Krypton Innovative Toastmasters had a 

joint meeting with Krypton Advanced 

Toastmasters on the 9th August to 

celebrate a milestone...the 100th 

meeting of Krypton Advanced....a festive 

meeting led by DTM Srinivas which 

involved presidential addresses by both 

presidents, TM Biljana Davceva and 

DTM MB Reddy, a wonderful 

presentation by DTM Ptemlatha down 

the KAT memory lane and a community 

service presentation about the traffic 

related 

accidents by DTM MB Reddy. Highlight 

of the meeting was the table topics 

session with a twist led by TM Shruti 

which involved 4 T commentators 

around the theme of 100 and 4 

evaluators of each commentator. The 

meeting was well attended by 

members and guests, I gliding the 

immediate past district director, DTM 

Ali Shahbaz who addressed the 

gathering. At the end there was a cake 

cutting ceremony to mark this 

milestone..

BAPCO Conducted 

Youth Leadership Program - 2017 


Bapco Toastmasters Club held a Youth 

Leadership Program for more than 35 

young leaders between ages 13 to 18 

years. The program ran from 17 July to 

29 August 2017. The Youth Leadership 

Program provided an excellent 

opportunity for the participants to 

develop their communication, public 

speaking and leadership skills.

BAPCO Conducted 

First Speech Marathon - 2017 


BTMC held a Speech Marathon during 

meeting 246 on 9 August. Seven 

speakers delivered prepared speeches 

and all speeches were evaluated.

BTMC Supports INJAZ Bahrain 


BTMC members have successfully 

carried a summer program in 

coordination with Bapco’s coordination 

committee and INJAZ Bahrain. 

Members carried two programs for a 

period of two weeks, introducing the 

participants with importance of money 

management and boosting 

employability.
