are invited to stop by any of<br />

the New Lenox Fire Protection<br />

District’s fire houses the<br />

morning of Saturday, Oct.<br />

14 to meet some of your area<br />

firefighters and take a quick<br />

tour of each station.<br />

Below are the station addresses<br />

and hours of each<br />

station’s open house:<br />

• Station 1, 261 E. Maple<br />

Street will be welcoming<br />

residents during the New<br />

Lenox Fire Foundation’s<br />

pancake breakfast, from 8<br />

a.m.–10 a.m.<br />

• Station 2, 1205 N. Cedar<br />

Road will be welcoming residents<br />

from 9 a.m.–11 a.m.<br />

• Station 3, 930 N. Country<br />

Creek Drive will be welcoming<br />

residents from 9<br />

a.m.–11 a.m.<br />

• Station 4, 19819 Schoolhouse<br />

Road will be welcoming<br />

residents from 9 a.m.–11<br />

a.m.<br />

“Many people have never<br />

stopped by their local firehouses,”<br />

said New Lenox<br />

Fire Chief Adam Riegel.<br />

“We thought that this would<br />

give our residents an opportunity<br />

to do that and meet the<br />

firefighters that cover their<br />

area of town.”<br />

made with chicken, tofu or<br />

mixed vegetables ($9.95);<br />

beef ($11.95); or shrimp or<br />

a combination of shrimp,<br />

chicken and beef ($14.95).<br />
