Mount Prospect <strong>and</strong> Genl Colley’s grave (1hr lunch stop) <strong>and</strong> briefing on the Battle of Majuba Wakkerstroom via<br />
Zaaihoek Dam<br />
Drinks at Oude Stasie at 14:30<br />

Othard Klingenberg’s farm for lunch (1hr) 80 – this was the post war Magistrate Court where some War<br />
criminals were tried.<br />
Pongola Valley where the Zulus clashed <strong>and</strong> 30 000 men died from sunrise to sunset.<br />
S<strong>and</strong> roads down Jantjieshoek Pass. We will split in 2 groups here. The braver ones will take a “technical<br />
route” back to Wakkerstroom.<br />
The alternative is a slightly longer but easier route back to Wakkerstroom.<br />
Re-grouping <strong>and</strong> drinks at Wakkerstroom Country Inn<br />
Evening braai, slide-show, Photies <strong>and</strong> prize giving, briefing Day 3.<br />
