What Can I Study
in the Graduate Non-Degree Program?
Study Abroad for Graduate Students
We offer courses and seminars in Bible studies and
Biblical archaeology, Jewish and religious studies,
Islamic and Middle Eastern studies, Israel studies,
nonprofit management and leadership, and business
administration and entrepreneurship. You may also
enroll in courses through Hebrew University’s other
faculties and departments, with permission.
Languages
Highly experienced faculty lead our immersive
programs in a wide variety of languages:
• Modern Hebrew • Literary Arabic
• Biblical Hebrew • Arabic
• Additional ancient languages such as Akkadian, Biblical
Aramaic, Greek, and Ugaritic, offered periodically.
Visiting Researchers
If your primary interest is research and collaboration
with HebrewU faculty, and you do not wish to take
courses, you may explore our Visiting Research
Fellow option. This program grants you access to
university libraries, archives, computer centers, and
academic advising.
If you’re pursuing your Ph.D. and wish to conduct
research and take courses in your field of interest, you
may apply as a Visiting Research Student.
Special Program for Spanish Speakers
Spanish speakers may enroll in our Iberian and Latin
American Studies and the Middle East program,
offered each spring semester.

bachelor’s degree, regardless of whether you have
begun graduate studies. Advanced research options
are available for students preparing a master’s thesis
