"SHE BUILDS TECH" HACKATHON (Out of the 4 Ideas presented, 2 are among the top 5 and are offered Internships at IBM BLUEMIX, WAVELABS, FLUENT GRID) Team 1 INTELLIGENT AMBI Intelligent AMBI means an Ambulance which is smart enough to save a patient’s life. It is based on Traffic signaling system. When an ambulance has emergency to go to hospital it faces problem like stucking in traffic. Our idea is to reduce the problem of stucking in traffic. The traffic signal has a sensor which senses the ambulance and gives a message to traffic police and also to the ambulance driver. On the way of going to a hospital or picking up the patient, when an ambulance is 2km away from the traffic signal the ambulance is been sensed by the sensor and a message is given to traffic police as well as ambulance driver. When it is 1km away from the traffic signal the traffic light turns to yellow and then to green, so that the ambulance can move freely. The second problem is even the ambulance crosses the traffic signal without any problem, the major problem is that the driver doesn't know the nearby hospitals. So our app provides nearby hospitals to the driver. The third problem is unavailability of specialists, ventilators, incubators (facilities) in hospitals. So our app provides all the information regarding hospitals. IMPACT GENERATED: Social: It saves life. It helps the patient to reach the hospital in time which reduces the health risk. Economic: Reduction in fuel usage leads to the reduction in the amount of money spent on the fuel. Environmental: It reduces the pollution with the decrease in fuel usage. Team Members: V.Sai Meghana - III EEE M.Pooja - III CSE Bhagya - III CSE TEAM-2 AQUA GRID R.Vyshnavi - III EEE Navya - III CSE Mounika - II EEE AQUA GRID is about water leakage system .The main idea is about water leakage system in VIZAG city .As per the information provided by the Vizag water supply , Vizag receive 130 million gallons of water per day from Godavari delta and in that 130 mgd almost 62 mgd of water i.e. almost 50% of water is wasted just because of improper engineering works or some other leakages, from this we can estimate that with in 10 years Vizag is going to face a serious threat of water starvation. In order to solve this problem, an idea called AQUA GRID was proposed which helps in detecting the leakage by using the sensors. In this the sensors are kept in the pipes for every 5km and also in the deviations. Touching the lives of all for their wellbeing is the motive of Ex-Voice.Ex- Voice is an application that helps the user either by speaking or typing a message on their phone. This application starts with each participant in a conversation downloading the application. It provides a means to carry out phone call conversations using the ‘text to speech and speech to text conversions’. During Text-to-Speech, in case, a hearing impaired person want to make a call and communicate with a normal person, he can type the information in the form of text as input at his end. This text is transferred and converted into speech WHILE ON CALL at the other end.
