<strong>Natural</strong> remedies for prostate


Enlarged prostate, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), usually<br />

affects men fifty years of age & older. <strong>Prostate</strong> is a tiny, muscular gland that<br />

encloses the urethra just below the urinary bladder and adds fluid to semen<br />

increasing sperm motility (low sperm motility is a common cause of male<br />

infertility). With age, the cells of prostate gland begin to swell making it<br />

enlarged and, in most men, resulting in nightly bathroom runs. Although the<br />

particular reason is still unidentified, changes in the male sex hormones could<br />

be a factor in the development of an enlarged prostate.


Kegel or pelvic strengthening workouts help reduce the discomfort<br />

associated with enlarged prostate by tightening and clenching particular<br />

pelvic muscles. Kegel exercises should be done after getting up in the<br />

morning, then at lunch time, in the evening and prior to going to bed. The<br />

main target are pelvic muscles.


Staying active is also great for prostate. Inactivity contributes to<br />

obesity, one of the most common risk factors for the prostate<br />

enlargement. Even a basic workout like aerobic &resistance exercises<br />

can bring a relief in inflamed prostate and can even help prevent<br />

BPH.
