I miss them so much… (Julia Berger)
You won‘t believe this story, but it‘s true. Last Halloween night my friends and I went
to play ``trick or treat``.
It was the last time in my whole life that I played this game. My friends wanted to go
to a haunted castle at the other side of town. I didn‘t want to go there, but I walked to
the other side of town with them. I knocked at the big door of the spooky house, but
nobody opened. I said to my friends ``Let‘s go home, our houses are far away from
here.`` But it was too late. Suddenly a lot of bats came out of their hiding places. I
couldn‘t see anything anymore, I saw only the wings of the scary animals in front of
my face. After a lot of time the bats disappeared. I opened my eyes, but there was
nobody. Where were my friends? Were they dead?
I screamed the names of my friends. ``Brick, Dan, Carol, where are you?`` No answer. I
ran away but the gate closed. I panicked, and fell on the ground. I saw a frightening
creature, it came to me. I screamed as loudly as I could, and shut my eyes.

The creature touched my body and wanted to pull me into the haunted castle. I hit the
creature and ran away, but the monster followed me. I opened the gate and ran far
away. When I arrived at home, I told my mum what had happened to me. But she didn‘t
believe my story. After this night I couldn‘t sleep anymore.
I never saw my friends again…

My monster

My monster is a big green
monster with three eyes and
three arms and three legs.
It has one ear and a big beard.
Its name is Konrad.
It kills all animals. It wants to
swim in the Felixer Weiher. It
eats a lots of ice cream. It
hates chicken.

Halloween (Lena Dosser)
It was on Halloween, the 31st October. I went trick-or-treating with my best friend, Elisa.
I wore a ghost costume and Elisa was also dressed up as a ghost. All the houses looked
so scary. Elisa was a little scared, and I must say that I was also scared. My mum said that
we had to be home at 11 p.m. but we didn`t know where we were. We only knew that
we were in the woods. We tried to go out of the woods, but it wasn`t as easy as it
looked. In that moment we saw a very big, old castle. We wanted to go into the castle to
phone home. We went up the stairs… The stairs were creaking. When we were standing
on the last step, the door opened and we heard a man laughing very horribly. At that
moment there was a flash of lightning and then we started running as fast as we could. I
got home and went to bed straight away. I was so tired!
At midnight I woke up, because I had heard a strange noise. I wanted to get up, but there
were hands under my bed. I screamed!!!!! My friend Elisa came out from under my bed
and laughed. “It was just a prank“, she said.

The blue monster
Markus Dosser
The name of the monster is Dr. Blue. It has
big eyes and is blue. It kills people and eats
them. The monster lives in a big house. The
monster eats apples, people and trees.
What it doesn´t like is bananas and milk.
At Halloween the monster goes from house
to house and eats people. It also eats the
houses. When the night of Halloween is
over, the city is on fire and all people are
dead. The monster sleeps until the next
Halloween night.

The horrible park

On Halloween a very scary thing happened to me and my
friend. This is what happened:
I went trick-or-treating with my friend John. We went to the
city. We wanted to go to my grandmother‘s house, because
she always had a lot of sweets. But to get to the house of my
grandma, we had to walk through the city park. And this park
was very spooky at night. There‘s this story: One night a little
girl walked alone in this park and she never came back.
And now we had to go through the park.

In the park we heard strange noises of crying people. And then,
suddenly, John was gone. I shouted his name, but I couldn‘t find
him. And then suddenly I saw yellow eyes around me. I ran
away.
And then I saw it…
I found John‘s dead body! It was horrible! Then I felt a cold hand
on my shoulder. I turned around and saw a big black man with a
knife in his hand. I ran away and then I came to my grandma‘s
house. I knocked at the door and ran into the house. It was so
terrible!

One Halloween, two children play “trick or treat”.
They go to the house number 666 and knock at the door.
An old lady opens the door.
She looks like a witch.
The children say “Trick or treat” and open their bag for the
sweets.
The old smiles and tells the children to wait for a moment.
One minute later she comes back with a big bag.
Behind her are three spooky old people.
The children think the old people are witches and wizards.
They are scared and run away.

An unbelievable story (Samuel Ghirardello Pichler)
You won’t believe this story but it‘s true.
Last Halloween night my friends and I went trick-or-treating in our town. My brother
Jack knew a good house. But this house was on the other side of the town. ”Let’s go
there“ I said. My friends accepted this idea. When we arrived, we saw a very old and
scary house. Long stairs with one hundred steps led up to the front door. We knocked
at the door. An old man opened the door. We were afraid of the man. I said: “Trick or
treatß“ But the man closed the door. My friends said: ”That man was mean. Let’s play
a trick!“ ”Of course,” I said. We put stones into his letterbox and we wrapped toilet
paper around his car. That was very funny.
But suddenly the man came out and he turned into a vampire. We ran away and I
phoned the police.
That was a really strange adventure.

Grandy (Felix Gilg)
The name of my Halloween
monster is Grandy. He is a strange
and big zombie. Grandy has knives
in his back and he is green. He
isn‘t slow, he is really fast. He can
only go out at night, because the
sun would turn him into stone.
Grandy eats people and he
doesn‘t like apples. When Grandy
can‘t find people to eat, he eats
animals.

Last Halloween night my friends and I went to play “trick or treat“
in our town. We saw an old house. It looked very scary. My mum
said: “Nobody lives there. The old owner died about 50 years
ago.“ But we heard noises and we thought there was somebody.
We went to the house and knocked at the door. A very old man
opened the door. He looked as if he was at least 100 years old.
He looked like a dead body. His face was white. We shouted. He
said: “Don´t be scared! Come on, let‘s go into the house and you
can choose your sweets.“ His voice was strange, but we believed
him and so we followed him. His house was like a haunted
house. You won`t believe it but…

…the man turned into a ghost and wanted to kill us. We ran
away. When we were at home, we told the story to my mum. She
laughed, because she didn`t believe us.
This year I won`t go trick-or-treating. My friends will come to my
place and we will have a party!

Trick or treating with my friends (Hanna Illmer)
Last week was Halloween. A week before I had made a cool Jack o‘
lantern. I went with my friends, Grazia and Anna, from house to house,
and we played “trick or treat“. It was a very cold night. The moon was
shining very brightly. Anna said: “Did you hear that? There was a
scream!“ Grazia and I were very scared and wanted to run away, but
then Anna began to laugh. She said: “It was just a prank!“ So we went
to the next house and knocked at the door. Suddenly we heard a
strange noise, like a knife cutting something in two. A woman opened
the door, she looked very horrible, she had yellow eyes. We were
scared, but she just said: “Do you like our decorations?“ “Yes. They’re
very nice!“ we said. We got sweets. Then we went to Grazia’s place and
slept there. It was a nice Halloween night.

Today Jimmy and his friends go trick-ortreating
. They start at eight o‘ clock. It is a
cold night. Jimmy is dressed up as a vampire
and his friends as witches and ghosts. They
go to many houses and get a lot of treats. But
then they see an old house at the and of the
street. There is no light in the house. They
knock at the door. Then an old man opens
the door.
The kids say: ”Trick or Treat”. The man says
nothing and closes the door. Jimmy and his
friends are angry. Jimmy takes out eggs of his
bag and throws them at the windows. One of
his friends puts stones into the letterbox and
wraps toilet paper around the man’s car.
Suddenly the man opens the door and a big
dog comes out. The kids run away. They are
lucky because the dog is dangerous. They go
home with a lot of sweets.

Valkan
(Lia Kofler)
My Halloween monster is an old man, Valkan.
This man was very sad when he died, and he was sad in heaven, too.
One day he ran away from heaven and now he scares little kids,
because children were the cause of his death. This is what happened:
When he was 99 years old he went to a park and he gave bread to
birds. Then many kids came and played basketball there. One kid
threw the ball at Valkan’s head. Valkan fell on the ground and was
unconscious. The kids thought he was dead and ran away. One hour
later Valkan woke up and was in great pain, some time later he died
there, on the ground…
So his ghost is very angry. He eats little kids. He has a big ball made
of stone and he throws this ball at kids and kills them. His head has
an open wound and you can see his brain inside. He can read the
thoughts of the kids, and he knows what they are feeling when they
lie on the floor and are in pain....
Valkan only comes to town on one day every year, on the day he
died - THE 31 st OF OCTOBER.

The Wizard

Hello, I´m Jim. Today is the 31 October and I go trick-or-treating with my two
friends, Larry and Harry. For today my mum has prepared a very good
vampire costume. The costume is really cool and scary. At 9 o´clock I start
with Larry and Harry at my house. First we go to my teacher´s house. He´s
very cool and is also dressed as a ghost. He gives us a lot of treats: chocolate
and sweets. Our next house is a very old scary house. A very little mouse
comes out of the house, but the mouse can speak and we are very shocked.
The mouse says: “Come into the house.” The house is very scary. Inside the
house there are lot of bats and the bats are biting. That is not nice. Suddenly
the mouse turns into a werewolf. We are very scared. But the werewolf says
that it is only a trick. The mouse is a wizard. And then we get a lot of treats.
After that we all go home. I give my sister some sweets and at twelve o´clock
I go to sleep.

What was that?

On the 31st of October, three friends, Ollie, Evan and Marc, went trickor-treating
in their hometown Denver in the USA. Later, when they had
scared some people and collected some sweets, they went deep into
the woods to have the sweets all for themselves. As they were deep
enough, they sat down on the ground and ate the sweets. Five minutes
later Evan heard a spooky noise and after that he also heard a loud
scream. Then, suddenly, Marc disappeared. Ollie and Evan went to
search for him. All they found in the woods was a girl. She was
possessed by a demon. She was covered with blood. That was the last
thing they ever saw …

The Sweet Monster (Jasmin Piock-Ellena)
My Halloween monster looks like
a smiley with horns, it is red,
because it is splattered with
blood, and it has a bow. Its name
is Purple. It looks scary and lives in
a haunted castle. It eats glitter, it
likes the colour pink and it doesn´t
like black. On Halloween it goes
from house to house and says:
”Candy or you will die!“If it gets
no candy it kills the person with a
knife and is happy.

Trick or treat

On Halloween my friend Anna and I went trick-or-treating in Scena.
At nine p.m we went to an old house, this house was very scary. We
went to the front door and knocked. An old woman opened the door.
Anna said:“Trick or treat“, but the old woman pulled Anna and me
into a scary room. In the room there was a knife. We saw a dead
body and we knew that the woman wanted to kill us. But she
said:“Now I will kill Anna and you must eat her!“The old woman took
the knife and stabbed Anna in the heart and I had to eat Anna. Now
Anna is dead and lies in her grave.

One day a boy named Joe played “trick or treat“.
He and his friend had dressed up as vampires.
Joe‘s mum said:“Don‘t go too far away!“.
At the first house, they were very lucky. They got
a lot of sweets.
At the 7th house something really funny
happened. Joe and his friend knocked at the
door. A man opened the door. “Trick or treat?“,
they said. The man said:“Please wait a second“.
Then he ran up the stairs. Suddenly the man
threw water from the window down on the kids.
They were wet, so they decided to go home. The
kids were angry and from then on they never
went to that house again.

The claws

That was a really scary Halloween night!
It began like this….
My big brother, my parents and I were
sitting on the sofa and watching a horror
film. The horror film did not end well. After
the horror film we went to sleep. I was lying
in my bed, suddenly I heard a noise. I didn‘t
know, what it was and I was really scared!!!.
I screamed so loudly, that my parents came
running to me and they also saw two scary
claws under my bed. Suddenly the monster
came out from my bed and the monster
was….. our dog?!? It was unbelievable! My
big brother had played a trick on me!

The late night delivery (Elena Chiplakovska)
About two years ago I worked at a pizza
delivery place. It wasn‘t that big of a
deal: I drove around with a car and
delivered pizzas to people. Nothing
weird happened … until one day. It was
half past one a.m. We were about to
close when the phone rang. I answered:
”Hello, Pizza Hot here, would you like to
order something?” I just heard heavy
breathing so I thought it was a prank . I
didn’t think much of it at first. Two
minutes later the phone rang again.
“Hello, would you like to order
something?” I said, then I heard a voice,
it sounded like an old lady’s: “A
pepperoni pizza with extra cheese” she
said. I asked my boss if I should deliver
the last pizza. He said: “Yes, and when
you have delivered it you can go straight
home!”
I said: “Ok.” I got the pizza and drove to
the address the lady had given me. It
was an old cottage with two big
windows at the front. I pulled over and
knocked at the door, there was nothing
but silence. I waited a little bit, then I
noticed an old lady at the right window
just looking at me. I shouted: “Your pizza
is here!“ She just looked at me and
smiled, but it was not like the usual nice
smile an old lady would give you. It was
a smile that sent the shivers down my
spine. I felt uncomfortable. l ran back to
my car and called my boss. “Are you sure
the address is right?” I asked. He
checked, but everything was alright.
Then I looked over to the house to see
the lady staring at me with her big eyes.
I drove away as fast as I could and then
quit my job the next day. Even today I
remember the creepy smile she gave
me. It haunts me still!

Last Halloween (Josephine Chlosta)
Last Halloween was a cold night. I
went trick-or-treating with Lilly and
Jimmy. We knocked at a door.
Somebody opened the door. We
said: “Trick or Treat!“ Out of the
house came a strange noise. We
were very scared. There was a
woman that looked like a witch with
yellow eyes. She had a pumpkin in
her hand. In the pumpkin there was
candy and a knife. It was horrible.
Suddenly it was dark, only the moon
was shining. Suddenly my friends
weren‘t there anymore. I was alone. I
was scared and screamed: “Help
me!“, but suddenly I heard
somebody laughing. It came from
the tree. I looked up the tree and in
the tree sat Lilly and Jimmy. They
had played a trick to me, and the
scary witch with the yellow eyes was
Jimmy‘s grandmother.

Alison‘s Ghost (Lena Dosser)
Two years ago, on Halloween night, my best
friend Alison died. She fell into the pond in
her garden and drowned.
Last year I went trick-or-treating with my
best friends, Emily and Lisa. We went to all
the houses in our street. But at Alison´s
house we stopped. Alison´s family didn´t
live in the house anymore. They had moved
to another town. We wanted to go to the
next house, but then Emily saw a light and a
shadow in Alison’s old house. Lisa said she
wanted to knock at the door and have a
look at the new neighbours. We knocked at
the door, but nothing happened. We
wanted to go away, but then the door
opened. We said: “Hello“, but nobody was
there. So we went into the house.

Upstairs, in Alison´s old room , a candle was
burning, and there were shadows. We went
slowly up the stairs and into the room.
Nobody was there. Then we heard noises
from the bathroom. In the bathroom we
saw a bloody handprint on the mirror. We
ran out of the bathroom and into the old
room of Alison´s brother. A candle was
burning there, too. Then we heard a quiet
voice coming from Alison’s room. “Help
me!“ it said. We looked and noticed that
the door of the balcony was open. We went
outside and saw something terrible: A
ghosts that looked like Alison was standing
on the railing around the balcony, crying.
We shouted: “Alison!!“, but it was too late.
The ghost fell from the balcony into the
pond and disappeared.

The house! (Sara Dosser)
Last year my older brother and I wanted to go trick-ortreating
without out parents for the first time. We went
with our neighbours. We told our mum that we would
only stay in our street and we would come back at one
a.m. When we came to the end of the street, there was
an old house. There was no light, it was dark there and
we had only the light of the moon. We walked up to
the door. At the front of the house there was a
pumpkin with a really scary face.
We knocked at the door and there was a strange noise
like something falling down. It was horrible! The door,
opened and yellow eyes looked at us. We said “trick or
treat”, the eyes came nearer, nearer and nearer, but it
was only a bat.

The scary Halloween story

On the 31 st October Kevin didn’t sleep a lot, because it was Halloween.
He met a friend, his name was Justin. They went to the city to buy a
scary costume for Halloween. In the afternoon Kevin came to Justin’s
place to play games. At night they went to the city again for trick-ortreating.
At the first house Justin said “Trick or treat”, and he got some
chocolate. At the next house Kevin said “Trick or treat”, he got ten
sweets. This happened at twenty houses. At the last house Kevin and
Justin said “Trick or treat”. The door opened, but nobody came out.
The boys went inside and never came out again…

The spooky man

Helga and Marta wanted to go trick-or-treating on Halloween. They
met at eight o‘ clock. First they went only to houses in their part of
town, but later they went further away. Suddenly they saw a very
spooky man. He came closer and closer. Helga and Martha wanted to
run away, but it was too late. The spooky man took them and took all
their candy. That spooky man took Helga and Martha with him to an
old house. Ten minutes later the man locked the kids in a room. They
didn‘t know where they were. Fortunately Helga had her mobile phone
with her, and they called the police. 10 minutes later the police came
and took Helga and Martha home. They told their mum everything, and
she said: “Next year you won‘t go trick-or-treating!“

A boy with a very scary costume went from house to house and said:
"Trick or Treat.” He lived in a small town and had gone to all the houses
in town, but one. It was the house of Mr Burns. It was a haunted castle,
it was very spooky. The boy went to the door and knocked. Mr Burns
came out and asked: “What do you want?” The boy said: “ Trick or
Treat.” The man said: “ Go away!” The boy went away but he played a
very mean trick: He fixed a bucket of eggs above the door. If the man
opened the door, the eggs would fall down! Then the boy knocked again.
The man opened the door and the eggs fell down. The man was very
angry! The boy ran away, and went home. He told the story to his
parents. He took off his costume and went to bed.

The haunted house (Cristian Iliev)
Mike and Bobby went trick or treating. They were in their part of the town but they didn´t get any
treats, so they went to the other side of the town. There was a haunted house, Mike said: “ Let´s
go in and look!” But Mike said: “ I saw two ghosts.” Mike said: “ No, here is nothing. Don´t be
scared.” They opened the door and went inside. Suddenly they heard a noise and they were a little
scared. They went into a room. There was a lot of blood and the head of a man. Suddenly
somebody grabbed Mike! Bobby ran out of the house and thought Mike was behind him. But
when he turned around, he saw that Mike was not there! He was even more terrified and ran
home.

The horrible doll

The night of the 31 st of October was a horrible night.
Lisa, Sally and Mia went trick-or-treating. At the
end of the town they saw a scary house. The girls
knocked at the door. Nobody opened, but then the
girls noticed that the door was open. They went
into the house. It was dark. Suddenly a doll was
behind them, with a knife in the hand. They ran
away, but the doll ran after them and laughed.
They were scared. Suddenly the light was on, they
saw three coffins. The doll said: ”These are your
coffins!!” Lisa called the police: ”Hello?! Is here the
police?? We are in the … horror house in … Lose
Street!! Please, help us, here is a … Hello?!” There
was no answer. Some minute later Sally and Lisa
saw Mia, she was in the coffin. She was dead. Sally
and Lisa ran out of the house to the police. The girls
promised never to go trick or treating again! 30
years later the police found Mia’s dead body.

MY HALLOWEEN MONSTER (Konrad Josko)
My monster’s name is Freddy. It is very
terrible because there is blood on its clothes.
On its face is a mask, it’s black and red. The
monster is very big. It hasn’t got any fingers.
Freddy has a knife in the pocket. Freddy lives
in a scary big house in a ghetto. It eats
fingers and drinks blood. It doesn’t like
vegetables, but it likes a soup of eyes and
finger nails.

You won’t believe this story, but it’s true. Last Halloween night my
friends and I went to play “trick or treat”. We went to a very big and
scary house. It was really late, and so nobody was around. We went to
this house and knocked at the door. I said that we should go home, but
nobody listened to me. The door was unlocked, so we opened it and
went into the house. But we ran out of the house again a moment later.
There was a very big man, and in his hand he had a chainsaw. Was that
really true or was it a dream?

A strange night (Sarah Kienzl)
Every year on October 31 st there were many children in our city. They
went from house to house and said: "Trick or Treat”. But last
Halloween night two ghosts came to the city, too. These ghosts were
twins.
There is this story: The two twin girls lived in this city a thousand years
ago. One night they went trick-or-treating, but they never came back.
According to the legend they would come back one thousand years
later.
Last Halloween the thousand years were over. On that night nobody
went trick-or-treating. But that was a mistake. The ghost twins went
from house to house and said: “Trick or Treat”. But nobody opened
the door. The ghosts shouted: “ If you don`t open the door, we will kill
you!” And that’s what happened: The ghosts killed everybody in the
city. And now everybody is a ghost.

My Halloween Monster (Andreas Klotzner)
My Halloween monster looks like a
skeleton. The name of the creature is
Tom. The skeleton goes from house
to house during the cold night. Its
eyes are black and the teeth are red.
The tongue is yellow and the mouth
is purple. The monster hasn‘t got a
nose. It has a fire in the hand and it
knocks at the windows. The monster
lives in the forest. The Halloween
monster eats spiders and frogs. It
doesn‘t like grass and moss. The
monster makes a lot of noise when it
goes to the people.

Punny (Eva Linda Lösch)
My monster´s name is Punny. It´s a
special type of a bunny. Its teeth are
longer and its ears shorter than a
bunny‘s. It looks like a cat and has a
fluffy violet fur. It is not very big, but it
can run very fast.
It is only active at night. When people
come, it jumps on them and gives
them kisses.
The monster lives on trees. It eats only
chocolate and drinks hot chocolate. It
loves sweet things and it hates sour
things.
In the summer it sleeps, but it never
sleeps in winter.

Yesterday I went into town with a friend. We
wanted to go trick-or-treating. It was a really
great night, we got a lot of candy. But what
happened at the last house wasn’t funny. My
friend wanted to trick or treat at a really scary
house. I said yes, but it wasn’t a good idea. We
went to the house and wanted to knock at the
door, but before we could do that we saw two
spooky black girls with white dresses at the
door. We climbed onto the roof of the house
because they were really scary. We were
standing outside a window, when we heard a
little girl in the house. She screamed: “AAAH!!!
Oh my God, there is a monster under my bed!”
My friend saw the monster under the bed and
then he climbed into the window to help the
kid. He hit the monster and then he ran away
with the girl in his arms. We all jumped down to
the ground and then we called the police.

Last Halloween Günther went
trick-or-treating with his
girlfriend, Katja. They were
wearing scary costumes. They
went to the other side of town,
because there were better
houses. The last house of the
street was a really new house.
Günther didn´t want go to that
house, but Katja went to the door
and knocked.
A young boy opened the door,
three seconds later the door
closed and he had taken all their
treats. Then Günter and Katja
went home with nothing.

The witch (Justin Reiterer)
Last Halloween Jim dressed up as a bear, his
girlfriend, Bibi, wore some of her parents’ old
clothes. They went up the street. They came
to a very nice house. They walked up to the
front door and knocked, but nobody opened.
Then they knocked again and an old witch
came out of the house and said to the
children: "Run away or I´ll…”. The children
called the police. When the police arrived and
went into the house they could not find the
witch. But the witch was there…

The Catweasle (Julia Verdorfer)
My monster‘s name is Catweasle.
Catweasle is brown and has two legs
and two arms. It has two very long
horns and yellow eyes. The Catweasle
has very long teeth. It comes at night
and scares people by making strange
noises.
The Catweasle lives in the Ulten Valley,
in the woods near the “Spitzenalm”.
The Catweasle eats people that disturb
it, but it also eats trees and plants. It
doesn’t like animals. It likes nature and
silence. Its favourite colours are red and
yellow. It loves strawberries and water.
The Catweasle isn’t active during the
day, only at night.

My Halloween monster (David Vidanovski)
My Halloween monster´s name is
Vamp. It looks like a madman and is
scary. It scares people by running
after them or making noises. The
monster lives in my garden, in a little
house that I have built for it. It eats
beef and bread. It doesn´t like fish,
pizza, hamburgers and chips. At
night, at about 10 o´clock, we go out
on the street to scare people and
play tricks on them. It is so much fun.
I love my monster, we always have
fun and Vamp is a good friend of
mine.
