1. Introduction
Having a life in fullness and happiness requires a healthy body and mind. These are two
very important concepts to achieve our dreams and objectives such as getting a good job,
exploring different places in your country or the world, meeting beautiful people or staying
calm in your favorite place and many more experiences for your life.
There are many theories, to have a better social and personal life, but they are very complex.
Llife is simple. I think it only needs a healthy mind and body to live calm and happy.
Health is the main concept, since it unifies the physics, mental and social areas. If you are
healthy, you can have more energy to enjoy your life and fulfill your dreams and projects.
We need to be disciplined with the diet and exercise, to have a healthy body and mind.
Well nourish our body has many benefits. It can help us to lose weight or maintain a perfect
weight. It can reduce cholesterol and prevent health conditions. Fruits and vegetables are
essential for our nutrition, because they contain all vitamins and minerals that the body
needs to be healthy.
2. Personality
Personality refers to individual differences in characteristic patterns of thinking, feeling and
behaving. The study of personality focuses on two broad areas: One is understanding individual
differences in particular personality characteristics, such as sociability or irritability.
The other is understanding how the various parts of a person come together as a whole.
(E. Kazdin, 2017)
Personality is essential to identify ourselves in a social world. The behavior, the way to express
yourself and the way of thinking. I think that personality can not be classified. Each
person is unique and special. It is something that can be transformed and improved for our
mental wellbeing. Among the factors that most influence to get a job is our personality. It is
the description for the person that is going to be hired. For this reason, you have to be very
attentive to your bad behavior in the public and personal life. Change this bad behavior to
generate a good personality and it will be easier to achieve your objectives.
2.1 Personality
and Jobs
Personality-job fit theory revolves around the idea that every organization and individual has
specific personality traits. The closer the traits between the person and the company
match, the higher the chance of workplace productivity and satisfaction. The best personality
fit will also decrease job turnover and stress, absenteeism, and poor job satisfaction.
Personality-job fit theory or person-environment (P-E) fit is a match between a worker's abilities,
needs, and values and organizational demands, rewards, and values.
(Lombardo, 2003 - 2017)
The character and personality traits are an important requirement to be engaged in a professional
work, because they affect the performance of the company in a positive or negative
way. If used in a positive way, the character and personality traits, we can get our dream
job and employment stability. For example, in my profession (Advertising) it is very important
to have a creative personality. We have jobs immersed in a creative world. We work
with design, music, films, strategy. These ideas are reflected in television commercials, advertising
campaigns and artworks. However, not only advertising work with creative people.
We see most things objects, buildings, spaces, materials, technology, and systems.
2.2 Creative Personality
Creativity is a central source of meaning in our lives. Most of the things that are interesting,
important, and human are the result of creativity. What makes us different from apes our
language, values, artistic expression, scientific understanding, and technology is the result
of individual ingenuity that was recognized, rewarded, and transmitted through learning.
(Csikszentmihalyi, 1996 - 2017)
A creative personality is fundamental, not only for works in advertising or designer. All professions
need people with a creative personality, because human beings are creative by
nature. It is a matter of discipline. There are many ways to stimulate the creativity, for example,
ask what else can I do with this?, take notice in your work, understand your process
and make it personal. This personality you can run us for troubleshooting or create your
own business, you are free to use your creative. Creativity is something very desirable by
companies.
2.3 Healthy Personality
Healthy people are capable of self-directed growth and leading their lives largely unaffected
by childhood events. There exists an inherited tendency for psychological growth and actualization,
a built-in natural motivation for health of mind. The contributions of positive
regard and conditions of worth are valuable as are the characteristics of fully functioning
people. Being fully open to all experiences without feeling threatened offers potential for an
exciting life style. Responding to life experience as fresh and new and living fully in each
moment of existence is very worthwhile.
(Continuing Psychology Education, 2006 - 20017)
Have the freedom and inner security to experiment with different models of healthy personality
to determine which one works for us. The balance with self and the environment,
allows us to adapt easily to the changes that may occur. Enjoy what we do and use realistic
points of views. That is what builds a healthy personality. The construction of a healthy
self esteem, accepting flaws and qualities. This allow us to do activities in a unique style,
without the need of copying or imitating others. Self-care is a characteristic of a healthy
personality. If you can be responsible for your health, weight and nutrition, it means you respect
and take care of your body.
3. Importance of fruits
and vegetables
Fruits and vegetables provide health benefits and are important for the prevention of illnesses.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends filling half of your plate with fruits and
vegetables at each meal. Fruits and vegetables contain a variety of nutrients including vitamins,
minerals and antioxidants. (Hernandez, 2010 - 2017)
This topic is the most important, because food is a main source of energy. A healthy diet is
composed of fruits and vegetables. Their consumption helps to prevent various diseases as
heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity. The vitamins and minerals that they contain are
essential for the human health. This type of foods benefit a proper digestion of others nutrients.
The intestinal volume increases, since it helps regulate the appetite and process
better the processed food. Eating is a basic and vital necessity for all humans. But eating
also makes you sick if it is not in a conscientious way. It Is very important to consume the
raw vegetables, since if they are cooked, they lose much of the nutritional qualities. If you
consume the fruits in juice, you have to consume the pulp and seeds. The fiber of the fruits
is very healthy for our intestine. There are many methods of alternative medicine. For instance,
the fruit therapy. It is is a therapeutic technique based on the medicinal substance
of fruits, that helps to metabolize sugars, lipids and proteins, which are . transformed in a
nutritional and healing source for the human being.
3.1 Physical Activities
Physical activity is any body movement that works your muscles and requires more energy
than resting. Walking, running, dancing, swimming, yoga, and gardening are a few examples
of physical activity. Lifting weights, taking an aerobics class, and playing on a sports
team are examples of exercise. Physical activity is good for many parts of your body.
(National Institute of Health, 2016 - 2107)
Physical activity has many health benefits. These benefits apply to people of all ages and
races. We are increasingly more inactive by technology advances. You can buy now
everything by internet, without the need of move your comfort. We use the vehicles to go
the store near the house. The human body by nature, need physical activities, because we
store fat and toxins that expelled by means of physical activities. If we accumulated fat, we
cardiovascular health is degraded, because the fat accumulates in ours veins and arteries,
obstructing the passage of blood, creating a heart attack. If we accumulated toxins, we
health problems as cancer, infections, flu, stress and headache. The physical activity not
only is the gym, they are many ways for practice physical activities. You only need activate
your heart for forty five minutes everyday. Is to find the physical activity that you feel good
and enjoy. Each person should adapt the physical activity its characteristics and possibilities.
3.2 Benefits of walk
in the woods
It’s as simple as it sounds. Forest bathing involves relaxing in a forest or other natural area,
often taking a slow walk while observing the environment around you. It has become such
a respected practice in Japan and Korea that forest therapy is now covered under their medical
insurance systems. The healing power of nature has been known for millennia, but
modern science is just discovering the importance of this ancient knowledge.
(Blarowsky, 2017)
The nature always use you healthy power about as, for this reason we have to take a time
for go a woods, observe the flowers, breathe the smell of the forest, enjoy the rock texture,
listen to the sound of birds, when the air you whisper in your ear. This has a healthy power
in the modern human, when the stress, anxiety and depression is the symptoms most
common at this time. The impact that the woods has in our health is very positive, lower
blood pressure, strengthen the immune system, reduce hormones stress related. Just
enough to absorb the atmosphere of the forest to obtain the benefits. In Japan the forestry
agency designated fifty woods as forest therapy center. Two hours into the woods once a
week is just for reduce stress.
