Within our range we give you the option to chose between two lengths of hulls
- standard hulls or racing hulls - depending on your sailing preferences:
Standard hulls with 4,0m (agility hulls): Advanced agility/maneuverability – made especially for fast
maneuvers and ocean adventures/waves. It´s the lightest model we offer due to the shorter hulls, and the
one with the lowest volume to pack, but the trade-off is more splash, especially for the front rider.
Racing hulls with 5,0m (racing hulls): Higher speed and more buoyancy support at the front of the
catamaran, which stabilizes the boat under a strong back wind (reduces the duck-diving effect).

where Smartkat was established in Steyr in 2006.
