QR IT Seek - Have fun while competing!<br />
The university has been very supportive in aiding the School of Computing to organise<br />
the QR IT SEEK <strong>2017</strong>. The event aims to further develop our student's teamwork, time<br />
management, confident, communication and problem-solving skills. This year it was<br />
held the on 4th October <strong>2017</strong> at APU new campus with participants from certificate,<br />
diploma, foundation and degree programmes took part in the competition.<br />
Participants will find it more challenging this round as they need to hunt the QR Codes<br />
and solving problems at such a big venue within 2 HOURS! The competition begins at<br />
10:00 am where participants start hunting for QR Codes and end at 12:00 pm by<br />
submitting their answer. While having fund hunting the QR Codes, our students also<br />
learn how to work together and solve problems within a specific time frame. A total of<br />
200 APU students participated in this annual event, where Cheng Rubin and Lim Kai<br />
Shen from level 1 come out as the winner of the competition. Students from level 2, Lee<br />
Joe Tick and Chan-Hui Cheng won the first runner-up, whereas Christie Natashia Archie<br />
and Bernice Tjonadi won the second runner-up.<br />
