QR IT Seek - Have fun while competing!
The university has been very supportive in aiding the School of Computing to organise
the QR IT SEEK 2017. The event aims to further develop our student's teamwork, time
management, confident, communication and problem-solving skills. This year it was
held the on 4th October 2017 at APU new campus with participants from certificate,
diploma, foundation and degree programmes took part in the competition.
Participants will find it more challenging this round as they need to hunt the QR Codes
and solving problems at such a big venue within 2 HOURS! The competition begins at
10:00 am where participants start hunting for QR Codes and end at 12:00 pm by
submitting their answer. While having fund hunting the QR Codes, our students also
learn how to work together and solve problems within a specific time frame. A total of
200 APU students participated in this annual event, where Cheng Rubin and Lim Kai
Shen from level 1 come out as the winner of the competition. Students from level 2, Lee
Joe Tick and Chan-Hui Cheng won the first runner-up, whereas Christie Natashia Archie
and Bernice Tjonadi won the second runner-up.
