Fill in the following three Blank Comic Strips. You can include any of the characters
you’ve created for your novel in these comics.
1. In the first comic, write a scene from your novel that moves the story forward.
2. In the second one, try to write dialogue that increases the tension.
3. In the final one, write a conversation that helps the reader better understand your
characters.
Remember, though, that you've only got six boxes to use in each, so you need to say a
lot—that is, your characters need to say a lot—in a small space. It's a challenge, but we know
you're up to it. Later, if you like what you've written, you can plop this dialogue right into your
novel using quotation marks.
