Over 60 types of selected herb varieties grow in Wilma Schrott’s garden, finding their
way into numerous wholesome and delicious craft products. The fruits of her hard work
and dedication rate highly with family members and hotel guests alike.
Hostess and co-owner of the Sonnenhof Hotel, Wilma puts her wide knowledge of herbs to
productive use with savvy combinations of Rose petals, Basil, Monarda didyma and Verbena – to name
a few. Her passion for herbs results in the creation of various syrups, teas, herbal flavourings for salts and
seasonings as well as delicious spreads that can be found in the hotel shop. „Sonnenhof” syrups
and herbal teas land up on the breakfast tables while her herbs are also used as ingredients
in the hotel kitchen.
Guided tours to our aromatic herb gardens take place throughout the year.
During the summer months, our guests relax and soak up the beneficial Kneipp treatments
in the aromatic herb garden together with Monika, our wellness coach.
