PCI – Interfaces<br />
OPTIBIT INTERFACE: Our high-speed Optibit interfaces provide communication between your PC and zBusbased,<br />
hardware components. A PCI card mounts in your computer and connects to one or more Z-Bus devices<br />
with a built-in Optibit interface. These interfaces also provide automatic device identification, hardware<br />
initialization, and a single clock that phase-locks all devices in the system. Fiber optic interconnectivity<br />
eliminates communication errors caused by electromagnetic interference and allows lossless data transmission<br />
over longer distances.<br />

UZ3 – USB Interfaces<br />
The UZ3 Interface supports connecting zBus devices to your PC via a standard USB<br />
3 port. The UZ3 interface offers the same versatile optically isolated connection<br />
without the need for a PCI slot in your computer. While not quite as fast as our PCI<br />
based connections, the UZ3 offers a convenient reliable connection to laptops and<br />
other computer form factors where a PCI slot is not available.<br />
