Artisan cabinet makers, Luxmoore & Co are proud of their Suffolk heritage
spanning over 25 years. In that period they have grown into one of the leading
bespoke English kitchen & furniture makers in the country
Founder Tom Luxmoore, a selftaught
cabinet maker, followed a
lifelong enthusiasm for working
with wood. He progressed from making
individual pieces of fine furniture
fashioned from local hardwoods, to
building entire kitchens.
Joined by his business partner, Tim
Owens, in 2011, together they have
developed a wonderful creative
environment with all the qualities of a
traditional cabinet making shop.
Every Luxmoore & Co bespoke kitchen
or piece of furniture is individually
designed and built from scratch. There
are no pre-made units or standard parts
because this is truly made-to-measure
work. Every home, old or new is different
of course, and so is the furniture. From
survey to installation the team put
emphasis on good use of space. Using
both traditional and modern cabinet
making techniques, the company brings
you furniture that is functional,
beautifully formed and built to last.
Today Luxmoore & Co continues to
embrace the ethos of the original vision,
using responsibly sourced local timber,
including ash, oak and chestnut and
aspiring to a standard of craftsmanship
that is hard to find in the market.
Buying timber from Suffolk woodlands,
the company helps to ensure the future
of this beautiful resource, encouraging
good arboriculture. To the customer, real
provenance can be given, even to the
location of the woodland that produced

From sawmilling, seasoning in the timehonoured
way, to kiln drying, timber is
carefully handled at every stage to
ensure the integrity of the end product.
From forest to final form, every item is
handmade with care and precision by a
very talented team of cabinet makers at
their Suffolk workshop in Brandeston.
Years of experience have taught them
the subtleties of crafting with wood, for
its strength or the beauty of its grain.
Luxmoore & Co design and make fitted
and freestanding furniture for all rooms
of the home, for example boot rooms,
bedrooms, dressing rooms, studies,
cinema rooms, butler’s pantries,
sculleries, wine cellars and libraries.
Working closely with clients and their
interior designer and/or architect,
concept designs are created and then
digitalised using CAD to produce
working drawings. Time is taken to
evolve the perfect balance of colours and
materials to suit the personality of the
client and their home.

the way, from choosing handles and
knobs to which worktop material would
be most suitable for your application.
