One of our Veterans, Quattro Daz, took it upon himself to organise a minibus from Worcester to the Imperial War Museum in
London, in October. After an early start, we arrived at the museum just before lunch, and whilst some enjoyed the delights of
tourist attractions nearby, the majority headed in to the museum. A large museum is an understatement, set over 5 floors, with
each one dedicated to a specific time. I found a bit of porn, I mean a Ferret Scout Car which I used to love driving. The most
sobering display however was the one about
the Holocaust on level 4 and there was alot
on display to take it all in....may it never
happen again. Once finished, we headed out
to look for the local Spoons for lunch, only to
bump in to another Veteran who had just left
the Union Jack Club after she'd had lunch
there. So we bimbled off to the Union Jack
Club instead, certainly worth a visit.
Once the day was over, we got back on the
coach and battled our way through the
London rush hour traffic. At one point, we
had to restrain our Rockape as we were
passing RAF Northolt, as he'd seen a guard
gate unattended and he was drawn to it.... A
successful Breakfast Club day out, and
there's now talk of a trip to either Blackpool or
the National Arboretum... Happy days...

As many of you, in the AFVBC world may know,
the Sandbag Times is now available as a
printed edition. Unlike the online edition, we
cannot offer the printed copies for free as we
have to pay for expensive printing costs and
obviously, the postage. However, we have done
some number crunching and we are pleased to
say we can send out packs of 5 magazines for
£20.00. Unfortunately, we regret that we cannot
send out single copies at this time, hopefully
that will change in the near future as the SBT
grows. The prints are of exellent and
professional standard with 250gsm covers and
130gsm pages with stunning colour and
