This paper describes the concept for an electronic
magazine (E-zine) based on the World Wide Web .
Vision :
To be a pre-eminent magazine by commencing a world class
E-ZINE that promotes professionalism.
Mission :
To articulate the concealed ideas, perceptions and endeavors of an
individual or an organization that are in affinity with
Visakhapatnam in diversified fields, by means of a susceptible
electronic media.++

Foreword and incentive:
Electronic magazines and newspapers in the World Wide Web, have gained
a great popularity in the past two or three years. Nearly every major magazine
and newspaper has a website or a promoting site, where, either tabbed
or all articles can be read. Ezines are offering many advantages over the con
ven-tional and decorous magazines. These also publish articles through site
on trending topics, without delay and can be instantly accessed from any
given location. Convenient searching mechanisms and individual collections
of articles are included.
Analysis :
The requirements for this electronic magazine are:
>Functionality as seen by the reader, and
>Administration tools.
In addition to regular E-ZINE( regular .pdf file published monthly) this site
provides regular articles on trending topics in the form of content text,
multimedia elements like audio, video with high resolution. In addition,it
contains information about the authors (of our EZINE), their affiliation and
their upcoming articles. Articles can be made accessible by topic, by date, by
author and via a context search. A user can subscribe to the E-Zine by
providing a profile of his interests, or any particular author and will receive a
notification(through automatic generated EMAIL) when a match to their
interests and preference is found. Any user can easily send in their articles
through emails which will be published after the approval of the
administrator.

DESIGN :
The following factors were considered for design:
1. Redundancy must be as little as possible
2. Flexibility for different queries
3. Easily expandable
4. Reader friendly
5. Portability ( mobile view, desktop view)
Generally designing or manufacturing a product includes two things:
1. Producing what people want to buy,and
2. Making it accessible to people for purchase.
In contrast with the above case, a magazine design includes :
Articles which are significantly read by people ( this consists of popular
contents, and public interests)
Example : art, comics, photography, fashion , technology)
Articles based on motivation, self-help, entertainment. (Examples: scribbled
stories on fiction, crime, horror, love, fantasy, and other genre. Dedications,
biographies, interviews etc.)

Implementation and exertion:
This E-ZINE (.Pdf or e-book) is promoted initially through all platforms of
social media like facebook, what’s app broadcast, , Gab, Google+, Instagram,
LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr, Twitter, Viber, VK, We Chat,
Weibo, WhatsApp . Etc... which will allow the reader to reach out to articles
which he/she is interested in for free of cost.
Later it will be promoted through one of the ways like Kindle, magzter
or self made app etc..
Reader’s view :
The E-ZINE (.pdf file) can be accessed directly through the official site from
a PC a mobile phone depending on the reader’s convenience. The articles can
be accessed through any document reader applications like WPS, adobe
readers etc from a PC as well as from mobile phones. The reader can directly
skip to his topic of interest by providing the page number available in the
contents (or index). The reader will have the option to continue his reading
from where he stopped previously.
Articles can be accessed by the readers in different ways. The articles are
sorted based on their genre and date they were published. Articles can
also be accessed by accessing the author’s (contributor’s) profile. There is
also a possibility to make a keyword search based on the title of the article.
FUTURE WORK:
As a changing world always demands new approaches from any individual
talent or an organizational work, we are always ready to update and
provide a better productivity through our media i.e., both MAGAZINE
and E-ZINE by being on the look out for each and every corner of vizag and
continuing to entertain, motivate and promote professionalism.
