The share of solar energy in total energy sources used for space heating was only 0.04%. At the end of 2016 households in Slovenia paid EUR 0.59 for a standard cubic metre (Sm 3 ) of natural gas, which is 9% less than a year before. In the same period electricity price did not change much; in the second half of 2016 households in Slovenia paid just over EUR 16 for 100 kWh of electricity. Per capita electricity consumption in 2016 was 6,351 kWh, meaning that a person in Slovenia consumed on average 17 kWh of electricity per day. 28
