Theinteriorandexteriorofthebuildingwascompletelyrefurbishedoveraperiodofthreeyears.Anew roof,new<br />
floors,new partitions,new electrics,new heatingsystem etc.alhadtobeinstaledtocreateamodern,fulyequipped<br />
primaryschool.<br />

Afterthebuildingwascompletelyrefurbished,Al-IkhlaasPrimarySchoolopenedin<br />
January2010withonly30children,Theschoolhascontinuedtodevelopoverthe<br />
yearsandhas now reacheditsfulcapacityof160children,withalongwaitinglist.<br />
Theschoolbuildingincludesanurseryclass,areceptionclass,year1-6classrooms,<br />
ICTsuite,stafroom,firstaidroom,visitors’room,amainhalandplayground.Althe<br />
nationalcuriculum subjectsaretaughtintheschoolsuchasEnglish,numeracy,<br />
science),aswelasArabic,IslamicstudiesandQuran.<br />
Theschoolalsohasacomprehensiveextracuricularprogram includingswimming,<br />
educationaltrips,residentials,communitycohesion.In2017theschoolwasjudged<br />
OutstandinginalareasbyOfsted.
NEW SECONDARYSCHOOL<br />
Folowingthesucessoftheprimaryschool,ouraim istoopenasecondaryschoolsothatthe<br />
childrenwholeavetheprimaryschoolcanatendanIslamicsecondaryschool.Wepurchased<br />
anewbuildingfor£300,000andarenowintheprocessofrefurbishingthebuildingto<br />
developamodernfulyequippedsecondaryschool.<br />
AformeroficebuildingwaspurchasedinNelsonforanew<br />
IslamicSecondarySchool.Thetotalsiteareais2,500sqmts.<br />

roomsinthebuilding,in<br />
