Michael Ryan<br />

Bombardier has appointed Michael<br />

Ryan as President, Aerostructures<br />

and Engineering Services, effective<br />

July 1, <strong>2017</strong>. Mr. Ryan, who previously<br />

served as Vice President and<br />

General Manager of Bombardier’s<br />

Belfast Aerostructures facility, will<br />

succeed Jean Séguin who is retiring<br />

after a very successful 36-year<br />

career with Bombardier. Mr. Ryan<br />

will report directly to Alain Bellemare,<br />

President and Chief Executive<br />

Officer, Bombardier.<br />

Jean-Marc Lenz<br />

Michael Sattler<br />

SR Technics has appointed Jean-Marc Lenz as Chief Operating Officer<br />

and Accountable Manager, and Michael Sattler as Chief Commercial<br />

Officer, effective as of June 1, <strong>2017</strong>. Jean-Marc will succeed<br />

Frank Walschot, who has joined HNA Group.<br />

Tim Behmlander Reiner Stamm Dave Morris<br />

PPG has named Tim Behmlander aerospace general manager for the<br />

Americas, and Reiner Stamm to succeed him as aerospace general<br />

manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Behmlander<br />

replaces Dave Morris, who retires July 1, as aerospace vice-president<br />

and general manager for the Americas after nearly 50 years in the<br />

aerospace industry. In their new positions, Behmlander continues as a<br />

member of PPG’s aerospace leadership team, and Stamm joins both<br />

the company’s aerospace and EMEA-region leadership teams.<br />

TP Aerospace has appointed Frank Rott as the new Managing Director<br />

of the facility in Germany and Global Chief Operations Officer<br />

of TP Aerospace Technics. Rott comes from a position as CEO and<br />

Accountable Manager EASA Part-145 and Part-147 at Haitec Aircraft<br />

Maintenance GmbH. Throughout his career, Rott has held positions<br />

within companies such as LTU, Rolls-Royce and Air Berlin, through<br />

which he has acquired extensive technical knowledge. He will be located<br />

at TP Aerospace’s office in Quickborn, Germany, but will be<br />

responsible for all global <strong>MRO</strong> activities.<br />

Rolls-Royce has appointed Ben Fidler into the new senior leadership role<br />

of Director, Group Financial Planning & Analysis, reporting to Chief Financial<br />

Officer Stephen Daintith. Fidler, presently an Aerospace and Defence<br />

Analyst with Deutsche Bank, will take up his new appointment at the<br />

beginning of September <strong>2017</strong> and will have responsibility for management<br />

reporting, forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning.<br />

AeroCentury, an independent aircraft leasing company, has reported<br />

that Karen Rogge has been appointed to its Board of Directors, effective<br />

immediately. Ms. Rogge has executive, financial and operations<br />

management experience with leading public technology companies<br />

including Hewlett Packard, Seagate Technology, and Extreme<br />

Networks, as well as private companies. She is President of the RYN<br />

Group LLC, a management consulting business, providing CFO and<br />

strategic advisory services for public and private companies.<br />

GA Telesis has appointed Marc Cho as its Chief Investment Officer. In<br />

his new role, Mr. Cho will entail oversight of GA Telesis Capital Management<br />

as well as managing and monitoring the company’s portfolio of<br />

assets, devising strategies for capital and growth, while also managing<br />

risk. Furthermore, he will act as the direct liaison with investors.<br />

Carlos Ordonez<br />

C&L Aerospace has appointed Carlos<br />

Ordonez, former VP of Sales for<br />

Aeronautical Investments, as Director<br />

of Business Development for Latin<br />

America. Ordonez has two decades<br />

of aerospace experience in the<br />

Latin American region. “I am very<br />

excited to have Carlos join our sales<br />

and marketing team utilizing his<br />

vast Latin America market knowledge<br />

and providing comprehensive<br />

solutions to regional, corporate and<br />

military operators throughout the<br />

region,” said Martin Cooper, C&L<br />

Senior Vice-President of Sales.<br />

In its efforts to strengthen its team to better serve customers in APAC,<br />

Sabre Corporation made two significant leadership appointments this<br />

week. Axel Bench is appointed as Regional Director – Asia, and will<br />

be responsible for South Asia, North Asia and Southeast Asia. In conjunction<br />

with this appointment, the Sabre Airline Solutions business in<br />

the APAC region will be restructured into three regions: South Asia,<br />

North Asia and Southeast Asia led by Axel Bench, Pacific region and<br />

Japan led by Scott Barratt, and Mainland China led by Peter Wu.<br />

Clayton Grant has been appointed Senior Account Director for Singapore,<br />

Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.<br />

Aviation Group as President of C&L<br />

Engine Solutions. C&L Engine Solutions<br />

specializes in large and small<br />

corporate and commercial engine<br />

transitions, including trading, leasing<br />

and acquisition of assets.<br />
