WE DON’T HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS Because our industry has grown pretty big over a pretty short amount of time, you'll probably run into a few unknowns. There won't always be an SOP or 'best practices' resource in place. Maybe even your manager hasn't encountered this problem before. No one is really sure what the "right" answer is. This may cause some people to panic-- but we think it's exciting.* Think of yourself as an explorer, sailing uncharted seas. Or an astronaut, discovering new galaxies. You'll be provided with the tools and training needed to be successful, but sometimes, you have to figure it out yourself. The truth of the matter is, this industry revolves around people, and that means it can be unpredictable. You've got to be willing to jump into a problem and work towards a solution. Don't dwell in the negativity of the problem, roll up your sleeves and conquer that sucker. We're all here to help. * Panic and excitement are not mutually exclusive 13
OPEN DOOR POLICY When you have a question, problem, idea, snack, concern, dog--we want you to share. Don't be afraid to talk to us. That includes your lead, manager, supervisor, the CEO, or whoever your "boss" is. Bosses are here to help. They are here to lead. They don't exist solely for the sake of a hierarchy.
