READING THROUGH THE BIBLE
Guidelines on Reading
the Bible Daily
1. Start reading the Bible today. ere is no
better time, and there is no reason to wait.
2. Set aside a speci c time each day. Set your
schedule and then stick to it. Starting your
day with reading your Bible is best, but feel
free to use any time that works consistently
for you. Key word: consistantly.
3. Read the Bible for the sake of learning,
not simply to accomplish your next reading.
Say a short prayer to God before you begin,
asking the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom
and understanding, then be refreshed by the
words you read!
The English Standard Version©
New Living Translation©
Contemporary English© Version
T he New King James Version©
ere are more than 900 English versions
If you have nished the Bible completely, maybe
it is time to move on to a new version. Why not
make such a shi at the start of the
year?
And once you have chosen your Bible, do
Did you know?
- The centermost verse in the Bible is Psalm 118 - “ It
is better to trust in the Lord than put confidence in
man”
- The Bible was first printed in 1454 AD by Johannes
Gutenberg, who was a German blacksmith, goldsmith,
printer, and publisher who introduced printing to
Europe.
- The Bibl is the best-selling book in history. About 50
Bibles are sold every minute. It is also the world’s most
shoplifted book.
