About Us 

Town and Country Covers is a vehicle seat cover manufacturer 

and distributor based in Hampshire, United Kingdom. 

The idea for protective seat covers initially came from the water 

sports industry. The covers were first produced in 1986 for 

sailors, windsurfers and surfers who wanted to drive home in 

their wetsuits without damaging their seats. The market quickly 

increased as people from other industries, such as builders, 

mechanics and dog owners, also began to show an interest 

in protecting their seats. This demand rapidly outgrew the 

in-house capacity of the original designer, who still leads the 

design team today, and the business began to expand into the 

wide range of seat covers we currently supply. 

Our world class materials, suppliers and manufacturing 

facilities, coupled with our in-house design and pattern-making 

potential enable Town and Country Covers to offer the highest 

specification in our products. 

Our covers are distributed through a vast network of automotive 

and agricultural dealers, as well as online sellers. This means 

that Town and Country Covers can be purchased throughout 

the UK as well as abroad. 

Vehicle Application 

We are committed to ensuring that every customer finds 

the correct product for their vehicle. To this end, we have

a feature that allows customers to simply and quickly

have a growing library of fitting guides, some of which 

include video demonstrations. 

A NOTE ON OUR MATERIAL 

Choice of fabric is important to 

us. Our covers are made from 600 

denier Polyester with a waterproof 

Polyurethane coating (generally 

referred to as 600D/PU). Despite 

previously using nylon with a PVC 

backing, in 2006 we changed to 

the present 600D/PU combination 

when we expanded our business 

to Australia: we found the nylon/ 

PVC combination to be extremely 

uncomfortable in hot environments 

as well as feeling very cold on 

chilly mornings. Furthermore, PVC 

is environmentally damaging on 

multiple levels and most responsible 

retailers have phased it out. 

We work with the same fabric 

sources and manufacturing partners 

as top sports companies. The 600D/ 

PU that we use is tough and durable, 

in addition to being waterproof to a 

hydrostatic head of 600mm. It also 

has excellent UV resistance to resist 

fading. The 600D polyester has an 

extremely heavy duty matrix, which 

gives high resistance to tearing and 

scuffing, one of the many reasons 

that this material is widely used in 

backpacks, soft luggage and sports 

goods. 

We currently supply our seat covers 

to the motor, transport, construction 

and agriculture markets with a 

returns rate of less than 0.09% - 

quality is our number one priority.

The Back Seat Sling is ideal for 

protecting the back seats from 

damage or dirt from your pet dog. 

It attaches to the headrests of the 

front seat and then covers the rear

Summary 

Our Universal Van seat covers are heavy duty, waterproof and designed to fit a wide variety of vehicles. 

Our range includes single driver and passenger seats (3D Universal Front found on page 2), double 

passenger (Van Double and Van Stretch on page 6) and rear crew seats (Van Crew Rear on page 8). 

These can be found in our universal covers section. Our universal covers will fit almost all vehicles on 

the road, however if your seat has special functions (such as under seat storage or a fold down tray), 

universal covers will still fit but may not allow for these functions. 

To keep up with the increasing complexity of seats in Vans and Light Commercial vehicles, we have 

also created a large range of tailored seat covers for the more popular van models such as all the new 

Ford Transit models, Vauxhall Vivaro/Renault Trafic and Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner. These covers 

will allow for special functions of a seat, such as under seat storage or a fold down tray.
