KARACHI: Suspension
of ‘encounter specialist’
Rao Anwar was not enough
and the government should
lodge murder cases against
him and his team so that
justice could be doled out to
the bereaved families
whose loved ones were
killed in ‘fake encounters’.
incident now. No one will
support wrong doing. All
will condemn it. An impartial
probe should be held
into this incident. This is not
the first incident of its
nature. Who gave license of
it. Action should be taken
not only against Rao Anwar
but also against chief minister
and home minister
Sindh.
The resignation from
chief minister and home
minister should be demanded,
he said. The apathy and
silence of Sindh government
on this matter is in
fact its support to this incident.
The entire burden
should not be shifted to one
police officer as this way
the issue will not be
resolved. If you remove
one the second will replace
him and he will be assigned
task. The real thing is this
who is assigning this task,
he questioned. Therefore
Sindh government should
be held accountable. The
courts should take suo
motu notice on this matter,
he demanded.
