Eid 2017
Designed to please all tastes, the four-day event at the Katara, Venue Star
featured a spectacular show inspired by Sinbad, the fictional sailor and
hero of One Thousand and One Nights, fireworks, gift giveaways, mascots
and balloons.

Garangao 2017
Katara’s Ramadan - Garangao night by Venue Star offered many activities
and programmes which provided visiting children and their families a great
entertaining and learning experience. Children received gifts and listened
to traditional Garangao songs.

Katara Ramadan
Katara celebrates Qatar National Day every year in a grand manner, they
organize a special event where they have a giant book, In which people
can sign and leave a message. Venue Star was called upon to organize the
entire event, right from the production giant book to managing the entire
event around it.

Katara Murals with the Brushes of Artists
A total of 107 large-scale paintings adorn the walls of the Cultural Village Foundation-
Katara, thanks to the recently concluded second edition of ‘Katara Murals with the
Brushes of Artists’ project which tapped 51 artists from 17 countries. Venue Star
was at the forefront in putting the entire event together with lights, sounds and
various other logistics.

Senyar 2017
A total of 107 large-scale paintings adorn the walls of the Cultural Village Foundation-
Katara, thanks to the recently concluded second edition of ‘Katara Murals with the
Brushes of Artists’ project which tapped 51 artists from 17 countries. Venue Star
was at the forefront in putting the entire event together with lights, sounds and
various other logistics.

The 5th String OUD Music Festival
T he Fifth String’ Oud festival brought together the finest oud musicians
from the east and the west on one platform for the first time in the region
on March 18 at the Katara – the Cultural Village Amphitheatre. Venue Star
organized all logistics, booths, lighting, stages and display units.

Halal Festival 2017
In an aim to revive Qatari heritage, Cultural Village Foundation-
Katara has organised Halal Qatar Festival 2016 to display methods
related to the breeding of sheep. The festival encompasses a
variety of events including Al Mazain beauty contest, Al Mazad
auction and a sheep barns presentation.
Venue Star, was selected to arrange
for one of the biggest events at
Katara. We put together every part
of the event, right form the lights and
sounds to every structure on site.

Katara Qatar National Day - Signature Book 2016
Katara celebrates Qatar National Day every year in a grand manner, they

Katara Prize for Prophet’s Poets
23rd April - 28th April 2017
T he Cultural Village Foundation - Katara inaugurated the second
edition of Katara’s Prize for Prophet’s (peace be upon him) Poet Festival
during a ceremony held at Katara. Venue Star was appointed to handle
the entire logistics for the event.

Qatar National Day 2016
Ooredoo is the largest telephonic network provider in Qatar and every year
they organize the National Day event for all its and QIA staff members. Due
to the past successful events with Venue Star, we were awarded the project
to organize their National Day 2016. We organized everything right from the
tents to lighting, sound, entertainment, Stage and photography.

Qatar National Day 2015
A national event day at Dar Al Salam Mall dedicated to and for the mall
visitors. An entertainment area where visitors can enjoy fun activities
to celebrate the Qatari national day and educating visitors about Qatar.

Annual Marketing Event
Event by Ooredoo to encourage their staff and discuss new plans for
the coming year. Venue Star put together all décor and themed the
event as a jungle.

Ooredoo Marathon - 2017
Venue Star took the responsibility of organizing Ooredoo Marathon
which had the participation of more than 2,000 runners of all ages
and gender across the country.

National Sports Day 2017
This is the sixth year that Ooredoo hosted its National Sport Day
event at MIA Park and this time Venue Star has the park split into
special zones, designed to find a sporting activity for everyone from
children and young adults, to fitness fans and sporting newbies
alike. Highlights of the activities include a penalty shootout, tug
of war, karate, aerobics, handball, human
chess, basketball and more. As well as sporting
activities, healthy food will be sold at the park
alongside fresh juice and water offering families
an opportunity to enjoy the day-long picnic.

Ooredoo TV Launch
Design, Fabrication, installation and entire project management
for the launch of Ooredoo TV in Qatar. A 100% successful
project which was executed in a turnaround time of 3 days.

Treasure Hunt Dar Al Hamam Park
Venue Star organized multiple Treasure Hunts Activations for
Vodafone from 2016 - 2017, with the aim to inform parents
about how to keep their children safe in the digital world and to
encourage them to have an open dialogue with their children about
these matters. Venue Star first Treasure Hunt for Vodafone took
place last year at Ezdan Mall followed
by Dahl El Hammam Park, then Gulf
Mall,Hyatt Plaza and then QITCOM 2017.
Throughout that we saw the participation
of thousands of families.

Venue Star with Wakra Labs also helped develop the Treasure Hunt App
and well as the website for the event.

Vodafone QITCOM Booth

Education Above All Tent at Qatar open
Over the course of the tournament, awareness of the foundation’s work was raised
through an EAA booth in the tennis stadium, which featured a map showing the progress
of EAC projects since 2012, while EAC memorabilia, such as brochures, leaflets and
children’s T-shirts were distributed to visitors, and donations were collected. Venue
Star helped setup the complete booth with all printed collaterals included.

every year they celebrate a special Garangoan event for all the kids
and do a special charity event for the disabled kids. Venue Star
was proud to be a part of this event at Ramadan 2016. We setup
up internal and external equipment and decoration at their main
Hotel in the Souq as well

In partnership with QTA Festivities across the mall this Eid.
From fun-filled cartoon character shows to spectacular live
performances, and world-class museums to tons of entertainment
activities for the entire family.

Islamic scholar event
Islamic scholar event organized for Raf. The event hosted Aid al-Qarni
as the main speaker and it attracted more than 1000 people.

BIKE BLENDER
What about exercising while making a delicious fresh juice?! An activity
brought by Venue Star to different audience engaging in a fun sport to
make fresh juices.
