Once upon a time, in the woods lived Beth
a very beautiful butterfly. Beth was about
to have a baby.

Little by little came out a bright sparkly
little butterfly. Her mum called her Becky.
She was lovely and all the animals loved
her.

Yeeeh Pah!!,Yeeeh Pah!!,cheered all
the butterflies, as Becky showed off her
beautiful wings and new flight skills as
her mum taught her how to fly.

Flap! Flap! Flap! , they all celebrated
the arrival of beautiful little Becky.
B.....B....B...B...B...B!!! is for baby
Beckeeeeeee………!!! they chorused
and danced in wide circles in the woods.

Becky loved to fly high up the bright blue
sky. Over the hills and down the valley,
she really loved the rays of the beautiful
bright sunshine.

Mummy Beth warned her never to fly
alone, as the hungry birds were waiting to
eat her up. But Becky would not listen,
because all that was on her mind was to
have some fun.

One day mummy Beth was going to the
woods to search for seeds. She advised
Becky to stay at home as she was in
danger of being eaten up by the bad
hungry birds.

But Becky had something else on her
mind. All that she wanted was to be free
and to have great fun. Becky flew out to
play all alone in the woods. As she flew
high up through the bright blue sky, out
came Mo the long beaked hungry bird and
he ate Becky up.

Becky went through his long neck and
settled inside his gut. “Leave me, leave
me to go home” cried little Becky from
the gut of the bird. But Mo did not listen
to her. Mummy Beth came back with the
seeds for Becky, but Becky was lost. Beth
went into the woods to search for her.

The first creature she met was the
beautiful proud prancing Peacock. “Hey,
Mrs Peacock! have you seen little Becky,
she asked the Peacock. ?” “No! No!
No!” replied the Peacock.”

The second creature she met was the wide
eyed owl starring straight into her eyes.
“Hello Mr Owl, have you seen Becky?” she
asked the wide eyed owl. “No! No! No! ,”
replied the wide eyed owl.

The third creature she met was the short
beaked parrot. “Hi Mrs Parrot, have you
seen Becky?” She asked the short beaked
Parrot. “No! No! No!” replied the short
beaked Parrot.

The fourth creature she met was Rob the
red haired Robin starring at her. “Hello
red Rob, have you seen Becky?” she
asked the red haired bird. “No! No! No”,
replied the red haired Robin.

Then out came Mo the horrible long
beaked bird looking mischievously at
Beth. “Hello Mr Mo, have you seen
Becky?” she asked him. “Yes, Becky is
inside my gut, he replied”. “Please bring
Becky out”, she begged him. “No! No!
No!” replied Mo the wicked long beaked
bird.

Then out came Davey the dove with a
song, “please, pleeeeeeesee” bring
Becky out from your gut”. But “No! No!
No!” replied Mo the wicked long beaked
bird.

Then out came Katy the bubbly
Pelican. “Please bring Becky out from
your gut”. “No! No! No!” replied Mo the
horrible long beaked bird.

Then out came Peggy the penguin.
“Please bring Becky out from your gut”.
“No! No! No!” replied Mo the horrible
long beaked bird.

Then out came Ken the kangaroo.
“Please bring Becky out from your gut”.
“No! No! No!” replied Mo the horrible
long beaked bird.

Then out came Kingsley the Koala.
“Please bring Becky out from your gut.”
“No! No! No!” replied Mo, the horrible
long beaked bird.

Then out came Willy the fearful wolf with
an angry voice, “Mo vomit Becky or you
could be eaten up”. “No! No! No!”
screamed Mo the horrible long beaked
bird.

Not even a threat from the fearful wolf
could move Mo the horrible long beaked
bird, to bring Becky out from his gut.

Then out came Tom the wise old Tortoise
carrying a basketful of seeds.
“Hellooooo handsome”, he called the
horrible long beaked bird. “These seeds
are for you”. “Please bring Becky out
from your gut”.

The horrible long beaked bird was happy
because the tortoise called him
handsome. He also liked the seeds. He
took the basket of seeds .Then he blew his
nose, “Tiiiiiiiiiiisssssshhhh!!!!!!...”
But out jumped Becky from his nose to
the grass. Then off he went, with the
basket of seeds.

Becky came out wet tired and dazed. “You
are lucky to be alive said her mother.”
“Lesson learnt in obedience”, she
answered her mum.

Then off flew mum and daughter into the
woods. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!
is for Beckeeeeeeee!!!! shouted the
butterflies.

Everyone was happy that Becky did not die
in the bird’s gut. A party was thrown by
mummy Beth to celebrate Becky’s safe
return. But Becky and all the younger
butterflies did learn some lessons in
obedience, “The stubborn little butterfly
ends up inside the gut of a hungry bird”.
