The 4th Annual Gayly Bowl
IOOV held its 4th Annual Gayly Bowl in honor of National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
Six teams participated with 17 male-identified people. Individuals participated in a day of obstacle
courses, food and prizes at an outdoor park. The Gayly Bowl serves as a point of entry for HIV/AIDS
awareness and prevention while engaging in healthy activities. It is also a way to encourage
community members to collectively take action toward this national epidemic that continues to affect
LGBT POC communities, particularly young MSM of color. This popular event has helped strengthen
and raise the profile of our commitment to reducing the impact of HIV.
