RESCUE PLUS
fallon@aphdr.org • www.aphdr.org
Rusty (right) is a sweet
3 year old boy who
enjoys long walks in
the park and cuddles.
Rusty is in search of a
warm bed and a family
or companion who will
utilize his cuddles to
their full potential. Rusty
has very good house
manners.
Sweet Pete (left)
is 6 years old and
getting used to the
good life in the house!
He has always lived
outside in the past.
He is doing well on his
housetraining. Pete
LOVES to cuddle and
be petted. He loves the
ladies but is not crazy
about men.
Marli (right) is an active,
attention-seeking 5 year old
German Shepherd / Husky
mix. She has a very puppylike
personality and requires
lots of love. She loves to run,
walk, and play. Marli learns
quickly and is quick to pick up
on commands. She would do
best with a family with older
children or no children since
she loves to run up to people
and show her affection.
Lilli (left) is a laid-back 5
year old Shepherd / Husky
mix. She is great with
children and loves to give
kisses, play with soccer
balls, and chase anything
that falls in front of her.
She would do great with a
family with children or other
animals. She has never
been around small dogs
or cats.
DOGS IN THE CARE OF CRISTI
(865) 694-8387
cristi@bluegrassanimalhospital.net
Lucy (top left) and Bella
(top right) are sweet 40 lb.
9 month old Hound mix
puppies. They and their
littermates were dumped on a
neighborhood road last July.
Their caretakers’ medical
issues now make it urgent
that homes be found for
them, separately or together.
Both are crate-trained and
housetrained. They are
friendly, energetic dogs who
would do best in a home with
older children and no cats.
Toby is a 10 ½ year old boy
that looks like a small-tomedium-sized
Pom. He is
currently living at Bluegrass
Animal Hospital, courtesy
of his long-time vet. Toby is
super-sweet and playful. He
was the “husband’s dog,” and
when the husband died the
wife was not able to care for
him. His only medical issue
is a periodic raw nose, which
is treatable with the topical
antibiotic Neosporin.
