Dear Retailers,<br />
This catalogue represents a broad range of our quality products. Formerly, through<br />
Rotorua Handcrafts Ltd, we have been manufacturers and suppliers of souvenirs since<br />
1953. Most of our products are priced in the lower end of the range and all timber<br />
used in production is native and recycled.<br />
We endeavor to market a high quality product that represents good value <strong>for</strong> money<br />
to the customer. Because of the smaller size and pricing of our products, we have<br />
found that customers tend to buy items in greater quantities as they are able to take<br />
these gifts with them rather than have them posted separately, a bonus to you as the<br />
retailer.<br />
In 1993, We introduced a laser engraver to our manufacturing process, which means<br />
we are now able to personalise our product with either your logo or with suitable<br />
local emblems or land marks. This has had an amazing influence on the type of<br />
product that you as the retailer, can sell to the public, <strong>for</strong> it gives you the<br />
opportunity to sell something unique to the area, or give away something that gives a<br />
permanent reminder of your business.<br />
In 2013, we took over the ownership of “aotearoa arts ltd”. this added top quality<br />
maori hand -carvings to our current product range.<br />

i have been carving 19+ years under the watchful eyes of master carver<br />
tony kapua, tuti tukaokao, george todd and many other carvers who<br />
inspired me to carry on carving today. i learnt how to shape and design<br />
all by hand <strong>for</strong> 12 months manufacturing souvenirs under tony kapua<br />
at ohinemutu carving school in rotorua where i graduated.<br />

existing design on the front of the product then put your<br />

If you have an image in mind a suitable black and white<br />
computer file such as a Bitmap or JPEG is ideal <strong>for</strong> laser<br />
engraving. If you don't have a computer file a large clear<br />
black and white print which can be scanned is best,<br />
however, we are able to convert some coloured images or<br />
photographs.Bookmarks, key rings rimu and glass<br />
coasters, pens, pen boxes and business card holders are<br />

Prices<br />
The goods shall be purchased at the prices listed on the price list. A discount of<br />
5% is available <strong>for</strong> purchases paid within 7 days of the invoice.(Excludes<br />
Bartercard)<br />
Payments<br />
Payments shall be made on the 20th of the month following delivery, unless the<br />
discount is being taken.<br />
Interest<br />
Payments not made on or be<strong>for</strong>e the due date may incur an interest charge<br />
calculated at the current interest rate of Memories of New Zealand Ltd bankers.<br />
Non Receipt or Damage<br />
All items should be checked on receipt <strong>for</strong> both obvious damage and suspected<br />
damage. Non receipt or damage must be reported by you to both the carrier and<br />
to us within 7 days from the date of delivery or the claim will be rejected by us<br />
and no refund will be given.<br />
Risk<br />
Risk passes to you upon delivery of the goods.<br />
Ownership of the Goods<br />
The goods shall remain in our ownership until we have received payment in full.<br />
Pending payment you shall hold the goods/proceeds on our behalf. We reserve<br />
the right to enter on to your property and repossess all goods supplied at any<br />
time, by us to you, in the event that payment is not received by us.<br />
Ownership of the Shop Display<br />
Memories of New Zealand display stands shall always remain the property of<br />
Memories of New Zealand Ltd. Stands are placed in your store with the<br />
understanding that it is to be stocked with “Memories of New Zealand” products<br />
only. We reserve the right to remove the stand at any time <strong>for</strong> breach of promise.<br />
