Kiro looked on in disgust,
while his mother checked the
tractor outside for rust.

“This egg, it’s a bit bizarre,
explain the concept to me, papa.”
“Eggs are laid by lots of things.
and many Layers have wings...

Dad said, stepping back from the coop
and landing head-first in a pile of poop.

"Aye up, stinky," said Mum, looking around.

“I need to know more,” said Kiro, sleepily.
“And you will,” replied Dad. “Do you need a wee?”

The chicken looked around and about,
the blue folk would be back, no doubt.
With strange manners and head’s swimming in pee,
It’d be interesting what next they’d see.

When a vampire budgie’s not your thing,
or a spaniel that goes Buzz and Ping,
Kiro and his parents felt it right
to come to Earth to see things that go
CLUCK
in the night.
