ABSTRACT • Actually, this presentation is all about the line constants of transmission lines. The line parameters depend upon the conductor materials, spacing b/w conductors, the size of the conductor and the bundled conductors. • By knowing all these values, we can find the inductances and capacitances of the overhead transmission lines. The variations in these constants are cost effected but transmission system is improved. Main discussion points are the voltage regulation and the transmission efficiency.
ABSTRACT Abstract • By making variations in the line parameters, voltage regulation changed. It should be low for the reliable system. • Transmission line efficiency also affected by making variations in these line parameters. Transmission line losses are also taken into account for this. 100 % efficiency is not possible but near it, efficiency can be achieved by variations in the transmission line parameters
