However, the story is not finished there. The Old Man reappears in a television game<br />
show, in the future, called Beat Destiny. The aim of the show is for contestants to go back<br />
in time and change a time in their past for the better.<br />
We discover the Old Man is Rico in the future and his mission ( which he failed) was to<br />
go back in time and prevent his past- self from getting married to Rebecca. This we find<br />
out is because Rebecca ruined his life by destroying his career and taking away his<br />
children.<br />
The story ends with us seeing Rico, via a television screen, of the past, losing all his<br />
wealth. We also see future Rico begging for a second chance at the futuristic game show.<br />
There is however one more twist; we discover that Rebecca is the next contestant on Beat<br />
Destiny.
