Kindergarten Registration
Wednesday March, 7 and
Thursday, March 8, Walsh
School, 514 N. MacGregor
Road, Lockport. Registration
will be held at the
school from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Wednesday, March 7, for
morning registration hours;
from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday,
March 7, for afternoon
registration hours; and from
4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday,
March 8, for evening registration
hours. Parents with
children who will be 5 years
old on or before Sept. 1, 2018
will need to bring the child’s
government-issued birth
certificate. In addition, there
will need to be three proofs
of residency, including one
of the following: a current
real estate tax bill, a signed
lease, a closing statement on
house (if home purchased
within one year) or a notarized
third-party (available
at school office if one lives
with the third party). Two
of the following will also be
needed: a driver’s license,
a public aid card, a utility
bill, automobile registration,
home/apartment insurance
certificate and a bank/credit
card statement. Parents will
be asked to complete registration
forms and pay a registration
fee. There is a $10
deduction given to students
who pay at registration or
before May 18, 2018.

Registration in Homer 33C
Parents whose children
are turning 5 on or before
Sept. 1, 2018 are encouraged
to pre-register their child for
kindergarten online. The
pre-registration form can be
found on the district website
at www.homerschools.
org. Click on the “Parents
and Students” tab at the
top of the page, and then
scroll down to “Registration.”
This information will
be used to help expedite the
formal registration process
on Thursday, March 15, at
Luther J. Schilling School.
Healthy Kids Running Series
Registration
Parents can now register
their children for the spring
2018 series of Healthy Kids
Running Series. The series
is returning to Stonebridge
Park beginning April 8. It is
a five-week youth running
program designed to combat
childhood obesity, while
providing children with a
positive, educational, and
fun introduction in the world
