Hensel Phelps provides three primary levels of commissioning, including:
• Commissioning takes place in new buildings.
• Retrocommissioning is the application of the commissioning process to existing
buildings.
• Recommissioning is the application of commissioning that occurs when a building
that has already been commissioned undergoes another commissioning process.
