Writing into the Dark to the Light

Joan Didion once wrote “Grief, when it comes, is nothing like we expect it to be.” Nothing
really is as we expect it to be – not the light, nor the dark. By writing into our dark places, our
difficult places, we will then emerge into the light with new understanding of the dark and the
difficult as being gifts as much as anything else. Writers of all genres are welcome.

ingredients simmered to produce a tempting meal of hearty chowder.
The three chowders we will prepare are:
Cajun Seafood and Sweet Potato Chowder
Ham Potato and Corn Chowder
New England Clam Chowder
